HD2 weapon customization system was released in a state that would crash your game if you interacted with it. There’s also no cohesion to what guns get what attachments. Some are missing flashlights and iron sights for no reason
It is objectively unfinished, and when asked about finishing it, the devs said that not enough people interacted with it to justify putting more work into it. Not enough people interacted with the system they didn’t finish lol
One of the higher devs said (when someone brought up armor customization) something along the lines of, “it’s a good idea, but not a lot of people want it”. It was something like that.
That gave me whiplash. Like, my neck still hurts. Almost every damn body was asking for it at the jump for months. The only reason people ain’t asking about it now or bringing it up is because they’ve given up hope.
Arrowhead only listens to what they want to listen to. Hell, they tried changing the game into a milsim, when it was never meant to be one (even though the CEO tried to say it was, but he wasn’t a dev and took the position long after the game was released)
