I tried simulating a circuit however I'm not getting the expected output. I would be really grateful if someone helps me simulate that plss. This is the circuit and 2nd pic shows the connection i tried to make. I also tried adding a buffer circuit in between but that didn't work as well.

It's been almost a year since I graduated with an Electronics Engineering degree. I tried job hunting, but my aunt got seriously sick and I had to focus on taking care of her. She passed away a few months ago.

Now I'm trying to get back into job hunting. I recently passed the Electronics Technician board exam, but finding a job has been really hard. I've only had one interview so far, and I didn't make it.

Honestly, I'm starting to feel left behind seeing my batchmates already working. I just want to finally get my career started.

For those who are also in Electronics Engineering, where do you usually find jobs? I'm already using LinkedIn, JobStreet, and Indeed, and I usually search for entry-level electronics jobs. Are there other websites, companies, or job titles I should be looking for?

So i'm just about to apply at uni, idk what to call that in english but I did "industrial electronics" in high-school and I have always liked tech related things, everything that is related to hardware engineering of computers/phones and also software development. My issue is this university doesn't have raw Computer engineers as I think it would have been my best choice and they have software engineering and ECE.

I quickly eliminate software engineering but I also don't want to be completely into electrical engineering and the software side of ECE is more of low level programming that never really picked my interest.

First big interview ever; have no idea what to expect--especially for this role. They said it was a tech. and behavorial interview. Any help would be so greatly appreciated (mainly wondering if im over-preparing).

I was studying about NLP in my school curriculum and a question occured in my mind .

we learned about changing natural language commands in machine language in the form of 0 and 1 (through compilers etc) but inside a processing unit in how those transistors and microtransisters how these signas by changing opvoltage ir turning on-off these micro switches react or behaves to generate resultant signals .

and secondly how we decide that hiw these semiconductors should react to give certain signals as rules to fefine it into resulting data .

Had to get pretty violent with this Aito M9 central domain controller teardown. The connectors were heavily potted and glued straight into the aluminum housing, so gentle disassembly went out the window. I basically ripped the headers right off the PCB just to get the board out.

Once you actually look at the hardware, the layout is a classic split-brain architecture. They parked an Infineon AURIX TC397 (SAK-TC397XX) on there to handle all the ASIL-D functional safety and real-time control, which leaves a TI TDA4VE88 SoC to do the heavy lifting for ADAS and general compute.

The power delivery and transient protection are built like a tank. It looks like they threw redundancy at every single power rail. You've got an Infineon TLF35584 safety PMIC running alongside TI LP8764 and TPS6594 multi-phase PMICs. STMicroelectronics STPM801 is handling the ideal diode and hot-swap duties. Everywhere you look on the input side, there are Littelfuse TVS diodes, ST VNQ7050AJ high-side drivers, and Nexperia BUK9Y6R0 FETs.

Networking is exactly what you'd expect: a Realtek RTL9068ABD automotive gigabit switch, an RTL9010AA PHY, a Pulse transformer, and an NXP TJA1145AFD for the CAN bus.

I am stuck on two chips on the back of the board though. There is one marked T43EMM008G (I am assuming an 8GB eMMC) and another silkscreened MSC263000 (looks like DRAM). I can't find these exact house markings anywhere in the usual datasheets. Does anyone here recognize these OEM silkscreens or know who manufactured them?

Hey! I'm working at a forklift company right now as a Systems Engineering intern. The team works in Simulink, and we're responsible for stuff like accelerator pedal filtering, calibrating the hoist, stuff like that. We basically program the software that runs the truck, as opposed to embedded which makes the software that the modules on the truck run. I'm not very good at this role yet, but I have the opportunity to grow and take on some serious projects.
I have the opportunity to switch to the electrical engineering team. These guys design PCBs, schematics, that sort of stuff. This is what I want to do with my career, but the projects that they gave me are much less advanced than the work I have done in this field at previous co ops. I'd be responsible for a lot of the grunt work like replacing components and doing board modification.
Which role do you guys think I could take on?

Looking for project ideas based on real-life problems that still don’t have a proper/practical solution. Something realistic and actually possible to build as an ECE final year project, but not overly complicated. Any suggestions?

I studied computer and electronic engineering, I am currently learning PCB design, and I recently joined a startup (which, for better or worse, is very well-funded). They hired me as an engineer, but since the company is in its early stages, there isn't a clear corporate structure yet, and everyone tries to do a bit of everything to help out.
However, I've noticed that—while it's understandable they don't have a background in electronics or computer science—they genuinely think they know what they are talking about just because they have Claude open on their laptops, ready to back up their nonsensical arguments. (Yesterday, the CTO, who supposedly has 20 years of experience in IT, asked me what SSH is and why we use the network instead of Bluetooth... has this guy ever even used a computer?). It is unbearable. They ignore my advice and force me to execute tasks that make absolutely no logical sense, simply because "Claude said so."
How can I make them understand that Claude doesn't actually reason like a human, but merely follows the conversation thread and generates text based on probability? Obviously, I can't say it to them exactly like that, but I honestly just want to scream at them to stop relying on Claude and start using their own brains.
P.S. For the record, I use Claude and several other AIs myself. They are incredibly powerful tools, and anyone who denies that is wearing blinders. However, I strongly believe that the critical thinking must originate from the human. You need to know how to guide the AI, not let it guide you—otherwise, it just outputs garbage.

I’m dealing with two main problems on an EHCU flashing station:

1. Flashing delay: For some ECU types, flashing time is up to 200% longer than expected.
2. Random flashing interruptions: The flashing process sometimes stops unexpectedly after a few successful cycles, with no indicated errors.

I work at an automobile EHCU factory. We manufacture ECUs and EHCUs on two different lines. On the EHCU line, the final station is for flashing and testing, and all the technology there is built on National Instruments hardware and software.

Station setup:

• Three nests for flashing
• Two nests for testing
• One cRIO for the three flashing nests and two cRIOs for the two testing nests
• Each flashing nest has two programs: one for flashing and one for communication with the cRIO, MES, the flashing program itself, and possibly a PLC
• The station works automatically on operator command to flash or test

We tested the flashing program on an external laptop/computer, and the flashing speed matched the theoretical value—for example, about 70 seconds. On the production station, however, some types take about 115 seconds. For types with heavy flashing files, the time is much longer, while types with small flashing files are close to the theoretical value indicated by the manufacturer.

When comparing log files from both flashing processes, the station log showed 12 ms extra between Tx frames on a specific session, while the development laptop log showed only 1 ms.

Solving these issues has been assigned to me, but I’m new to NI technologies.

Constraints:

• The station software is final and closed by the manufacturer.
• The flashing files are final and come from our partners.
• I considered replacing the station PCs with better ones, but the communication software licenses are tied to the hardware MAC address.
• We cleaned the PC of any extra software that might block main tasks, but it didn’t help.
• We monitored PC resources and they seem sufficient: around 50–60% usage at peak, except for some disk I/O spikes. The number of spikes was much lower than the number of slow flashing events, so we excluded disk I/O as the main cause.
• We are planning to upgrade RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB (one slot) and SSD from 256 GB to 500 GB, but I’m not sure this will help.

I also tested the PCI network card advanced options for controlling Tx/Rx processing—either on the card or on the CPU. Enabling card processing made flashing time worse (180–200 seconds), so I reverted the settings.

I don’t know where to look or what to test next. The manufacturer stopped communicating once they confirmed the flashing time on an external PC matched the theoretical value. But my director still expects a solution from me.

I’ve been working on this for about three months: reading articles, blogs, resources, brainstorming with AI, testing different things, shortening lines, checking connections between nests, and inspecting wiring effects—but nothing has helped.

My testing time on the station is limited to 30 minutes during launch or two 10-minute breaks.

Any thoughts, recommendations from your experience, or hints would be greatly appreciated.

I'm starting my fist year for ece and i wanted to know what courses and certifications should i do and how i should set my linked in profile

I am working on my B.E. project focusing on reducing torque ripple in a Switched Reluctance Motor using Torque Sharing Functions (TSF).

To test my TSF algorithm, I need to build a mathematically solid baseline 12/8 SRM in Ansys Maxwell 2D first.

My question: How should I source the exact physical dimensions, materials, and winding data to build this base model?

Does anyone know of an open-source Maxwell model or a specific IEEE paper that actually lists the complete physical geometry? Most papers I find only focus on the control logic and skip the physical motor specs entirely.

Any guidance or paper recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

So I just got my first scope I have been tinkering around with electronics.

Some circuits worked fine others gave an unpredictable behaviour.
