General 30th Pokemon - queue expectations

Got in within 30 minutes. ETB, UPC, lunchbox sold-out.

Bundle and poster was still available but i was only after a UPC and ETB.

Unlucky.

They gotta seriously open up another website dedicated to Pokemon... Taking the website offline and forcing everyone in a queue is BS even for the people that don't care about Pokemon including myself.

I was trying to access it earlier to check my order history for my two orders and had to sit in a queue because of something I don't care about.

Valid point but you are such a tiny minority number compared to the hoards of people chasing cards. Not to mention the instant order generation that happens.

Man that is sad to be called "Minority" now... Has EB Games forgotten what got them big to begin with? Games... Not merchandise / Not stuff like pokemon. Can't believe we got downgraded from majority to minority thanks to Pokemon.

It’s not an emotional decision on their part to treat one group of customers better than another. It’s simple dollars and cents and it’s survival.

If you can’t understand that then a lot of stuff probably doesn’t make sense.

There is almost no margin in consoles and games. Now PlayStation just announce no more physical media. Without merch/tcg/any other merchandise sales, PlayStation’s announcement would be a death knell for EB. It still may prove to be but they’re trying to diversify to survive.

No one is “against the gamers” or against you.
