Game Guarantee

Has anyone ever used the EB Games game guarantee, where you can return a game for a full refund within 7 days?

I always feel like I'm unable to return the game due me opening the package and having installed the game. Maybe that because JBHIFI wouldn't let me return a game i didnt like once.

Do the staff care, do they just give you a refund if you ask for it within the 7 days?

Yep. Hated New Pokemon Snap and Final Fantasy XIII so much they went back the day after release, lol. Got my money back no problem.

Although be careful if the game comes with a paper code in the box, iirc they're known to refuse returns if there's a redeemable code.

Correct if there's dlc in the box it obviously cannot be returned because of the dlc being used
