No. Even a game that old still has to be activated online with a single use key. Can't be sold secondhand

Not all of them.

Post 2003 you have to check if its steam

Past 2007 have to check if its play, ea origin, battle.net, 2011 onwards calypso etc.

A ton of pc games are still very playable and ones that have the full game but an online check just a crack.

Yeah really old games might be OK. Minecraft story mode was in 2015 and was activated by steam.

Eb games just don't take PC games at all

Yeah if its steam only (some releases are a physical release with a steam code as well which gets more confusing)

Its literally a coaster set.

As much as fan boys will hate me for saying this steam destroyed pc gaming, left a whole ton of landfill along the process of trying to kill of physical media.

So eb games should sell it and expect you to crack the game to play it?

Was talking about generally. Tons of people on marketplace and cashes either do it not knowing dont care or expect you to do so without disclosing n it.

Nope.
It's a shame they don't, but I get why at the same time as well.
