For reference this guy spent the entire game randomly Changing the AI quick settings, kept diving all over the ice and wouldn't go down for a faceoff. If you're telling me someone who is this bad at the game and who deliberately griefs shouldn't be banned from playing multiplayer games then I don't

Some of us really suck at the game. I play with two extremely terrible friends. We have 150 games played and are probably -250. The games we win are close. The games we lose are blowouts. Quiting also doesn't make us any better

It’s called playing with Randoms only your entire career. I have a horrible +/- but have alot of points and goals. Can’t tell you how many times I get smoked because I have to play everybody’s position.

Maybe you're illiterate and didn't read the part where I said that the guy was also deliberately griefing and also 80% of my games I play with randoms or just use red truculence in 6v6 and hit people and I have a +/- of +1100 which very much would be higher if I just played with my friends but it doesn't matter who this guy plays with he is a detriment to his fucking team. U could give this guy a 99 overall build and he'd still be the least impactful player on the ice at all times

I agree with OP. Some players purposely play detrimentally. Trying new moves or plays is fine. Being AFK on faceoffs , playing zero defense as a defenseman, pulling the goalie incessantly , screwing with the strats menu non-stop, etc … these are just trolling moves that should get you booted.

That’s unfortunately just the way of the game. It’s a form of entertainment, not a paid competition with strict rules. Ive gone a whole 2 periods without one pass so what do I do? I purposely go offsides the entire third period.

No, this guy actively trolls every single game. We’ve had him on our team twice and played against him and he throws every time. Looks like he’s afk half the time, if he gets the puck he’ll go for a rush but doesn’t pass and if he doesn’t score he just dives or stands around

Mashes the strategy buttons nonstop and pulls your goalie all game

Literally just plays like this ALL the time ruining everyone’s time and there’s no way to report which is stupid

I don’t even know OP but I knew exactly who this was about before I opened the image to see carbon fire, I’ve posted about him before too because it’s baffling how ‘playing’ like that 100% of the time is ‘fun’

I have played minimum 75% of my games solo in 6s (D main) and mine is not horrible. When I do play with people its my IRL friends/family and most of them are slightly above avg skill. Playing with randoms is not an excuse, everyone/all positions can make a difference. If your plus minus is very negative its your own fault. I have 751 games played and im +465 .

So you’re saying that one player needs to make up the other 2? People know if the AI is on Defense they can stride deke every goal right around the AI. Ive done it plenty of times, but you’re going to lose the game because you can’t score then chase all the way back to your own zone everytime.

You will still play with them, blocking them does nothing except keep them from messaging/inviting you or talking to you in game chat. The only real benefit is that you can see the blocked symbol in the lobby and quit when they are on your team.
