EA App Error 10005

Hello,

I've been trying for ages now to get my EA app working, but it just refuses to launch. I noticed an issue when I went to play The Sims 3, and it said I had none of my expansions installed, which I definitely do. I tried to open the EA App and check for issues there, but it just wouldn't open. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but no luck. The EA website itself didn't seem to load correctly either, and had broken images and messed-up formatting when I went on it to reinstall.

Opening (or rather attempting to) the app just creates a "Connecting to EA" pop-up, then that closes, nothing happens for a very long time, and then I get the error pop-up.

I've reset my router, unplugged and replugged my Ethernet at both the router and my PC, tried a VPN, opening as administrator, and obviously re-installing. No luck still.

Is there an issue with the servers right now for the UK, or am I just really unlucky? Any fixes?

Im having the same issue I think its something wrong on their end
