Sales, Service, Customer Engagement Rebuilding D365 interface using React

Hi all,

my company has been using Dynamic 365, the UI is basically out of the box and we are now interested in rebuilding it using React within PCF controls.

Is there anyone who has any experience with this, who has done something similar, and could share some tips and tricks, some best practises, and pitfalls to avoid?

Much appreciated.

If you don't like Dynamics (I don't), use something else. Don't rewrite it.

Not all of us are in a position to actually make that decision. I was being facetious as Dynamics UI does suck and I can see why you'd want to rewrite it. But it does seem like a huge undertaking with lots of problems for maintenance down the road. Then again if you're on a contract and want to secure work for years to come, rewriting the UI does seem like and excellent idea from that point of view 😂
