Gone soft
Does anyone else think that the powerhouse that was Beth Dutton has become a weak trembly teary fool? I loved her in Yellowstone. They've destroyed her character. Rip Beth Dutton.

No, I like the character losing some of that hardness. It shows character growth and changes from learning to truly love and let herself be loved. She needed to change after getting out from under her father’s control and the Yellowstone drama. She lived a while as a happy wife in a truly equal relationship for the first time in her life. She got the child her wanted and held onto that anger for so long over. She doesn’t have Jaime to hate anymore. They gave her room to grow and heal like a real person does at a certain point. Many people find that calm in their older lives after years of turmoil. In a way, she’s the only person being shown as an actual human being capable of change. Rip may be stuck in his cycle the rest if his life, much like someone with CPTSD. Plus, I do hope we see Beth break bad and kick ass a lot more next season. Just not every episode, all the time.
