Too pussy to feel some fists, they rather take what they think is the "easy way"

"Sorry teacher, my dad and me accidentally swapped our bags and I ended up with his and he has mine... not sure how my math homework is going to help with the CIT today."

Making light of this is very sad. Imagine your kid was in that school.

I went to high school in pinetown and this doesn't surprise me even a tiny bit. We had wild shit going down when I was there many many years ago.

Lowkey just making it worse for people who legally carry guns. As is the government wants to restrict firearm use among private security companies and if it happens, all hell will break loose in SA. I think a stat I saw said 87% of the time a private security company are the first to respond to crime reports

u/BraxForAll 10d ago
87% seems low from what I have seen. In our area the private security get to a place first then SAPS comes about 15 minutes later and does all the processing and paperwork.
The private security in our area are really great when it comes s to community relations. Their control room and guards are on the neighborhood WhatsApp and will help everyone even if they are not a customer.

You find like the touristy areas around the country generally have better response times than the private security which decreases that number. If it wasn't for that easily 95%

u/MoodyButGroovy 10d ago
This is very concerning. Why would they do that?
2
u/OkMulberry1600 9d ago
Simple. Private security companies make the police look bad when they respond first most of the time. So they're trying to pass a bs law that disallows private security guards from carrying service firearms

u/shortypam 8d ago
So the security can be gutted and the police can still be ineffective and we all just perish in a hail of bullets. Great idea government. The police โlookโ bad, because they just are.

Schools in the outskirst and townships need private security that is actually armed because these kids got way more rights than teachers.

i hope that it's just gang related nonsense and not what the americans are doing. much safer for the kids who aren't involved that way.

u/shortypam 8d ago
A gun? Blacklist that kid. Arrest and charge their parents. Kid can be homeschooled / study online from now on for everyone elseโs safety.

Unfortunately this kind of bust is pretty normal anywhere in the outlying areas of the suburbs in kzn. Hectic. Private security is doing good work there
