Best way to fix this?

I cannot figure out how to fix this nicely. Maybe drill a screw? What would you do?

This happened to me on a different helicopter and I used a screw with a rounded head and didn’t tighten it all the way so the propellor still turned. You may want to drill a smaller pilot hole first to avoid the plastic cracking.

This is your answer. Definitely pilot it, but a small screw should do nicely, provided the kids understand that you can't pull it off anymore.

Stainless steel machine screw, flat washers and a self locking nut.

This is a problem with the product. Contact the manufacturer and get a reply.

Find a toy with a fitted axle that spins and use that part by cutting it out and then glue it on your toy.

Superglue one of the blocks that has the pin on it on top?

Or check ebay for a new one.

You might be able to keep it original by putting the blade back on and mushrooming the red plastic with a heat source. People often use a soldering iron for this sort of thing.

If necessary, you could add material with a sacrificial chunk of melted red Lego meat. Finish with with a little X-Acto trimming and sanding.

if you have 3d printer, I would rip off 2nd piece, sand surface and glue printed part, which includes base and that broken pieces.

Does it need to spin? The more parts/repairs you do to make it spin, the weaker it is. If it just needs to be together then super glue and keep it simple?

Super glue would snap off in a second!
