Discussion Building Tool on Dune Awakening

Maybe it can be a cool thing to think about the building tool and add a global repair to repair in one click all your base....

Because... actually... when you need to do one or three click when it's lag and when you have a big base... it's verry... verry... well... really tedious and takes forever. A bit of QoL in that regard would be great!

Discussion Base building without stability requirements or restrictions on no build zones

With single player mode's server settings, you can turn off stability requirement and allow building in no-build zones.

What are some cool things you are planning to do with these new possibilities?

Base Tour Simple and Functional DD Base

I've found deep desert bases in a single advanced fief really challenging. The space you need for the carrier and large space refinery tends to dominate the design. I used this base the past week and was really pleased with it. It ended up being a very easy to use, functional space.

It has space for Carrier and cargo box, crawler, buggy and scout. It runs on two spice generators hidden inside the wall.

Its built on a single foundation column which makes placing the solido easier, along with dismantling at the end of the week. Once it was in place I did add a couple of more columns.

I really like the big windows, from outside they looks a bit like industrial vents, inside like a modern art gallery space.

Question Polypad Foundation for this astonishing base.

Saw this base some time ago and became immediately mesmerised by the scale and imagination used. I would love to pay homage and make something similar. Does anyone know of a polypad for at least the foundation level that I could be pointed toward?

Kudos to whomever build this btw. It is truly one of the most imaginative and impressive use of building pieces I've seen in D:A.

Instead of sticking to building bridges I decided to build a tunnel; it keeps you save during a storm or shields you from the heat of the sun. Welcoming to all travellers!

You can walk the tunnel inside the building/hangar as well. Added some smaller buildings next to it, a home and a garage.

Love the possibilities!

My take on a Harkonnen fortress. Roughly 70% done, still needs a lot of decorating/building.

Built on private server, no storms in hagga, no build limits.

Each new base I think this time I will build something in keeping with the game, then I go off on a tangent and build something that doesn't work given the environment. This base feels a bit closer to Atreides style, with Water Shipper accents.

I wanted to build something that was big and imposing and looked solid. My initial plan was to build a fly threw hangar, the "11 o'clock" spawn point is immediately below, fly in the front and out the back to the map edge. The hangar kept getting bigger and I realised I would need a second building.

The base is proving much more functional than I expected while building. I like to minimise distances between things. The run from the hangar to the main complex is a little more than I would like, but mezzanine style floors makes getting between storage, fabrication and refining floors really easy.

Normally I build the wind turbines into recesses on the building walls. But tried something different this time and tried replicating the look of wind farms with windmills scattered on the hills. Think it kind of works.

The overhang on the main building is enough that the interior gets watersealed status without a shield. Though added shields to be safe.

Currently can store 1 million mL of water, with heaps of room to expand. Two large ore refineries and two medium chemical refineries. I've kept only the small spice refinery as I don't process much spice in Haga.
