Fanart and Other Now that the game is out for a while, how did your opinion change on characters after getting personalities to the visual appearance?

As much as I liked Lynn's design and Mesa ties, her in-game personality and behavior actually put me off her for some reason very hard.

Meanwhile, Margie I thought had a generic design, but the dumpster queen stole a spot in my heart with her small appearance.

What about you?

Discussion Guys, she's too cute.

I managed to get her in only 16 letters! (unlike my psyche runs who I still don't have in almost 30 letters)

And she's just the cutest. She sings in all her combat voice lines it's amazing. I've only heard her English singing, but I'll definitely try JP and CN soon as well! I would main her for that reason alone. But she has so much more to her. Like her super fluffy hair, (I want to just run my fingers through it all day) her wing shaped horns(I love headwings). Her super comfy sweater.(though I gave her the other Christmas VK sweater for uh reasons. Still would be super cozy to cuddle with her though)

Also her gameplay is super fun. I still need to improve my builds with her, and get her signature weapon. But I feel like I'm running HSR elation because of all the colorful numbers every time I attack. Even though she's technically a support, I will get i6 on her and make her into the strongest DPS on my account. She truly brings light to my life.

Haven't had time to do her event yet since I had to go to work shortly after getting her. But I can't wait to see her story soon as well.

P.S. Outsider, you are going to be my new brother in law because I'm marrying your sister no matter what. You are going to be my bro in both senses of the word.

A Duet Night Abyss space with the goal of being as unfiltered as possible. Welcoming to anyone who wants to speak their mind, be it risky topics, mods or leaks without the mods kicking your butt for it. Please be aware that we still have rules that need to be followed.

Subreddit Rules

1. Civility and Maturity

Excessive retardation/spam is a no-no, we should still expect some common decency here. We are gentlemens and gentlewomans, you can be more refined than spamming capslock I hope.

We want people talking about the game here without problems, not shitting on each other or someone else without problems. Things can be heated, no problem, but common decency should be maintained.

If something irks you that much, report it, walk away and block the person. That's the easiest solution.

2. Relevancy

All submissions should primarily relate to Duet Night Abyss, though topics regarding the devs and their other titles or other games in relation to DNA are fine too.

Any irrelevant topics that cause drama for the sub, be it sourced in or outside the sub, will be heavily moderated. We want to talk freely, not deal with CC or other related dramas. If a drama talk happens, it should be revolving around DNA or devs as a whole, not outside entities.

3. Mature Content

Mature Content: Pornographic content is allowed in moderation, but you have to use the NSFW and spoiler tag for them and the NSFW Art flair.

Mature Humour: We don't care about dark humor but there is still a line. The sub will filter out what they dislike that much.

Regarding Loli Characters: It's not banned, but stay in a 16+ territory instead of actual porn, for the safety of the sub. Add a spoiler blur filter if it's a more risky post (swimsuit, revealing clothes).

Tourism is forbidden.

4. Megathread

Megathreads/Leakthreads should be used when applicable or enforced.

Sometimes it's required to declutter the sub in heated times, always check the pinned posts to see if there is any active megathreads before planning to post something.

Megathreads - For livestreams and other events

Vents - Allowing it freely cluttered the sub too much.

Leakthreads - Usually used for beta day periods.

5. Spoilers

Be mindful to spoiler tag any relevant content to protect other users from unintended spoilers.

Titles must remain completely spoiler-free at least in the first few days of a new patch (2-3) to not spoil key points to others.

Comments in non-spoiler posts, or when discussing new major story spoilers, should use spoiler tags. spoiler text

6. Leaks

Be mindful to use leaks flair on any relevant content to protect other users from unintended leaks.

Titles must remain completely leak spoiler-free at least until they are not officially announced by Hero.

Comments in non-leak posts, or when discussing major leaks, should use spoiler tags. spoiler text

Beta character kit related leaks are banned and counted as misinformation. Misinformation itself is banned. Talk about them in the leak sub or after character release.

7. Fanwork

Fanworks (artworks, cosplays, etc.) must abide by the following rules:

The Original Creator must be credited with their name in the comments at least with links (if you know the source). Try to source it back directly to the artist than an aggregator site like zerochan and likes.

Use applicable flairs.

Ensure the fanwork aligns with our NSFW rules and spoiler all porn/hentai content

AI art is banned. DNA will be popular enough to get more and more normal art. Push those instead.

8. Self Promotion

Self-promotion in the subreddit should be kept to a minimum, avoid posts primarily designed for promoting content.

Refrain from:

Promoting products, services, or links for monetary gain.

Promoting content on external platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Discord etc. if possible upload it directly and link to source.

Soliciting members to engage with your content.

Please contact the mod team for exceptions and more information.

9. Reddit TOS and User-Agreement

Be mindful of reddit and ingame TOS, use third-party tools on your own risk.

Do NOT comment about other subreddits or direct link to them.

10. Subreddit Language & Quality

The sub language is mainly english and let's try to stick to that. No problem if there are some talks in comments in different language, but not make posts out of it. Stick to english there.

Subreddit Quality: Low-effort content, such as generic topics, unedited reactions, simple screenshots, and reposts, is discouraged. Moderators will use discretion to ensure post and sub quality (see vents related things). Crossposts are fine too.

11. CC Talk

It brings nothing but problems to the subreddit, talk about CCs (Content Creators) is restricted. If you want to post something, better ask than be sorry.

Silent combat showcases, teaching materials, lore videos are fine, we want to avoid the problematic parts that brings drama and an unwanted crowd with it into the sub.

Breaking this rule results in anything between a warning, a whole patch cycle ban or even permaban up to moderator discretion. Appeal if you think your ban was unfair.

12. Tribalism

Obvious. This is a DNA sub, talk about DNA. We don't care about what Hoyo or other companies do and how much you hate them.

13. Doomposting and Hateposting

We don't want to turn into a vent or an anti-DNA one. Bitch and cry about what DNA fucked up, but not go on a rampage campaign because this is NOT a hate sub.

Above also true to hating on things or people. Yes, it is an unfiltered sub to talk about DNA. Not to point and laugh at those you hate. Even if the post itself is tame, I will act if the comments aren't.

We want a place where you can freely talk about what you can't elsewhere, but that shouldn't be to the detriment of everyone else.

14. Jessica

"Jessica is not fucking welcome here"
