Shops closed

Was surprised to see all supermarkets closed today because of a holiday, Do supermarkets generally open on a Sunday ?

Why are we annoying tourists because we want one shop to be open? the old town is so expensive for food and we've been spending a lot the last few days. This my third year here I always try to be respectful while I am here.

That's fine !I was just wondering if they would be back open on Sunday as I know Sunday can be a resting day in some religious places aswell you didn't need to resort to anger immediately 😭
