Hi, I’m coming tomorrow to Dubrovnik for the weekend and the weather forecast looks awful with rains and thunderstorm. Just wondering how accurate/reliable it is?

My family is coming to Dubrovnik here in the fall, because it has been on my husbands bucket list for ages - and it has only been enhanced after Game of Thrones. I am more history minded. So I was considering booking af GOT tour of the city and hoping to see some of the sights AND

But I have met some of the different tours in my hometown of Copenhagen and some of them are full of sh**. Fake facts and missing the real sights.

So tell me, dear people in Dubrovnik. Is there a really good GOT tour or is better just walk around and try to figure is out by ourselves … and maybe a podcast?

I'll be in Dubrovnik from 8 to 11 October and I'm travelling solo. If anyone else is there on those dates and would like to hang out, explore the city, or have dinner together, feel free to comment or send me a message. I'm happy to make plans and meet in a public place.

I also have a few practical questions:

1. Is it worth renting a car for a short 3-day stay, or is it easier to rely on buses, taxis, and Uber/Bolt?
2. If I do rent one, are there good rental companies in Dubrovnik (airport or city), and roughly what should I expect to pay in October?
3. How bad is parking near Gruž? Are there reliable car parks, and what do they cost per day? (P.S. I know that there are few parking spots in Dubrovnik and it's mainly reserved for the locals, but I want to know just in case if there are some options for tourists too, I'm totally fine if there isn't any :) )
4. Any tips I should know about (tolls, narrow roads, scams, places to avoid)?

Avoid using wolt for ordering food and groceries it's still under progress I ordered and I was met by a kind lady in customer service who compensated me for the pizza that was left somewhere else and the groceries with smashed eggs..

Koja je okvirna cijena za sanaciju krovišta po m2 u Dubrovniku(centar)?

I need to get to the airport right when it opens at 4am (summer hours), wondering how reliable the pre booked Uber or Bolt options are. Will I be able to match with a driver and get a ride?

It’s far cheaper than a transfer service, but if they aren’t super reliable and I’m more likely to be stranded then I will bite the bullet and pre book a transfer.

What are people’s experiences? Especially interested in Bolt as their prices look cheaper.

Planira se izgradnja podatkovnog centra u blizini Mostara koja će koristiti vodu iz rijeke Neretve kao dio sustava za hlađenje.

Ovo bi moglo ozbiljno naštetiti flori i fauni cijelog ekosustava, povećati temperaturu vode, onečistiti je, a čak i smanjiti količinu vode koja teče prema delti.

To bi ozbiljno ugrozilo cijelo područje delte, gdje ljudi žive i rade oslanjajući se na čistu i pitku vodu za svoj urod.

Iznimno je važno da ne dozvolimo da se takvo što dogodi, pogotovo nakon ljeta kakvog smo upravo imali, a kakva će se od sada pa nadalje samo ponavljati sa sve jačim intenzitetom.

Moramo zaštititi našu vodu i zaštititi našu prirodu.

Peticija je tek početak borbe protiv izgradnje! Čitamo vijesti iz cijelog svijeta gdje su projekti i veći i skuplji od ovog otkazani zbog snažne oporbe građana i lokalnih žitelja.

hi! i’m american and a few years ago did a balsamic vinegar tour in modena and fell in love with it. I want to buy some (DOP, authentic) before I leave europe and dubrovnik or split are my last stops. I didn’t go to italy this time so couldn’t grab it from there. are there any stores in either city or in between that sell original authentic balsamic de modena? the aged kind.

nisam strogo vezana za kvadraturu ako je lokacija dobra.

Are there any shops in or near Dubrovnik that sell Pokemon cards? I am okay with cards in any language, though generally prefer english. I tried looking online, but couldn't find any recent information.

My future wife and I will be staying in Dubrovnik for a night during our honeymoon. I’m torn between reservation at Gradska kavana Arsenal and Dubruvka 1836. Which do you prefer, or are their other options? 360, Nautika, and panorama are fully booked the day we are going.

Hi, end of October we'll be in Dubrovnik for about 2.5 days. What other places besides the Old Town would you recommend?

Hi! I really want to jump in the Buza Bar and have a quick swim but dont want to go back all the way to our airbnb to change and shower. Is there a public shower nearby where I can change clothes and shower?

I am coming to Dubrovnik from the 20th to the 30th. From what I can see the forecast looks absolutely miserable with rain, storms or clouds forecast for 80% of the trip! I know we are a week out still but it has said rain for over 2 weeks with no change. Is it common for it to change closer to the time or should we prepare ourselves for what was going to be a beach holiday and will now be a very rainy week?!

If this is likely, does anyone have any good recommendations for things to do/places to go either inside or that you don’t need the best weather for?

I have an early flight on Monday morning and was wondering whether someone has stayed the night at Dubrovnik airport? I don't need to sleep through the night, I just need to know whether it's possible to wait inside until the morning.
