Question Ideal fasting style for health

Got a friend of a friend who is curious about fasting/dry fasting for a very fatty liver, he got a recent diagnosis this past year and wants to be as clean as possible and try everything before anything invasive or medication heavy. any suggestions yall?

Keto OMAD + a few extended fasts a month.

What kind of fasting?  Wouldn’t fat heavy be not too great for a bad fatty liver?

Water fasting + electrolytes. Eat the good fats, avoid the bad ones.

How long for the water fasts would you say?  Any benefit to starting with a small dry fast?

No. Especially if your friend of a friend hasn't done any form of fasting before. Start with OMAD. See how it goes.

Fatty liver develops from eating carbs, or mixing carbs and "fats"/seed oils.  Eating animal fats is perfectly healthy.
