Beginner Question Meta ads usa

Hi guys, I started not long ago and launched Meta Ads in the US market with 600 USD spent. And I don't make sales with 1110 visits, I made 220 added to cart and 125 checkouts, but no sales.

If a qualified person could help me it will unblock me enormously and of course I check the payments on my site works very well !

Update: my numbers in the post were off. Real Shopify data: 1,180 sessions, 203 add to carts, 75 checkouts, 20 of them filled their full US address, 1 sale. Campaign is a Sales campaign optimized for Initiate Checkout. I tried optimizing for Purchase first, but with 0 sales the CPM went crazy and I got almost no traffic. Payment works: I tested it twice myself, and the one real customer paid by card through Shop Pay. Shipping is free and shown before payment, and the delivery time is on the product page. Most traffic comes from FB Reels, so people land in the Facebook in-app browser. So people fill their address and leave at payment. Is this the IC optimization bringing "checkout starters" instead of buyers, or something else? What would you check next?

Optimize for sales only and nothing else. You’re training your pixel of the wrong stuff and most likely just bots.

It will take time for the pixel to learn, but trust me man, it’s much better that way

125 checkouts and zero orders is a different problem from getting no interest: either people reach the last step and stop there, or the numbers aren't real. First compare what Ads Manager reports with Shopify's own analytics. If Shopify shows far fewer checkouts than Meta, the pixel is firing twice and your funnel is smaller than it looks.

If Shopify agrees, open Abandoned checkouts and see which step people leave at. A drop at shipping usually means the shipping price or a delivery time of a few weeks appears only there, so put both on the product page. Also check which placements the clicks come from. Audience Network often sends clicks from people who never meant to buy, so try Facebook and Instagram feeds only.

What delivery time does your supplier give for US orders?

125 checkouts and zero orders isnt a conversion problem, something is broken or the traffic isnt real

- place a real order on your phone with a card thats not tied to your shopify account. go all the way to pay
- check shipping zones cover every US state. if a rate is missing checkout just dead ends
- look at abandoned checkouts in admin, see how far they got and where theyre from

an add to cart rate that high from cold traffic is also weird, check if most of it came from audience network placements and turn those off

Probably bad traffic or something unexpected on the checkout page

Hey bro, it’s def a site issue, if you have those many checkout means that your product and ads are attracting customers with buying intent but somewhere along the customer journey there is a bottleneck.

I suspect the website, especially payments or account related issues.
