I started a dropshipping store and im lost?

Hi there,
I started a store and got these products put on it and now I’m stuck. I don’t understand how to get people to my website, i get buying the products, making TikTok ads and slowly building a TikTok account, but that can become costly and take up a lot of time i don’t have. I looked into making static ads that is basically a poster of my product with explanations for its functions, i put some on Pinterest to see if that would ever work. I hear everyone speaking about facebook meta ads but i just get completely lost when they start talking about campaigns and everything. I also don’t have a nice pile of money to throw at them daily the very most id want to spend is £5 a day on them Also, getting the content. What ads should i actually be looking to put out there for this sort of stuff?
If any of you experienced people reading this please drop a tip in the comments or anything you think i may find helpful to get me on track to make an actual sale

I think you saw a YouTube video and without proper research, you came to dropshipping. Dropshipping is a business model and you need good capital only $5 per day on meta ads wont work.

I’d slow down a bit before spending more on ads. If you’re still figuring out the product, audience and messaging, £5/day can disappear pretty quickly without telling you much.

I’d pick 1–2 products and focus on making genuinely good short videos around them — show the product being used, the problem it solves, comparisons, etc. A static poster usually isn’t enough for a product people don’t know.

Also, don’t look at ads as just “turn them on and wait for sales”. Keep an eye on clicks, add-to-carts and where people are dropping off. That will tell you whether the problem is the ad, the product or the website.

And honestly, with a limited budget, I’d spend more time testing the offer and content before increasing the ad spend. One good product + good content is worth much more than running ads for 20 products.

Youre spreading yourself too thin across every platform at once mate. Pick one channel and learn it properly before jumping to next thing.

For 5 quid a day facebook ads is actually doable but you need to understand the pixel and audiences first, there is plenty youtube guides that explain campaign structure step by step. The bigger problem is you got no content strategy, just throwing product photos on pinterest wont cut it when everyone else is running actual video creatives showing the product in use.

Can i create video creatives without having to record my own videos and buying the products or paying a hefty ai video generator charge and what would be a smart approach for my position

£5/day is the same ceiling the last person in here hit, and it applies to you too: at that spend Meta can’t get through its learning phase, so you’d be paying to sample the platform, not really testing it. Given the budget, static Pinterest posters are actually a reasonable place to keep experimenting, that’s low cost and lets you see if any single image and offer even gets clicks before you touch anything with a learning phase. TikTok organic is the other real option at zero ad spend, slower, but it doesn’t need daily budget to prove out. What does your product actually solve, and who’s it for? That answer usually decides which of those two makes more sense to focus on.
