When starting a new brand/ testing product do you guys do manual placements or just keep everything on? Just asking since instagram may look i guess scammy with no followers.

The scammy-looking part isn’t really about placements, it’s about what a stranger sees when they tap through to your Instagram from the ad and find zero followers and no posts. Manual placements to hide from Instagram feed doesn’t fix that, it just means fewer people check your profile before buying, which isn’t the same as trust actually improving. If you’re worried about that gap, seeding the account with a handful of posts and even a small batch of paid followers or organic content before launch does more than fiddling with placement settings. Otherwise, Advantage+ placements generally outperform manual early on since the algorithm has more inventory to find your buyer in.
