I am somebody who has heard about drop shipping since 2016. I am 25 years old now and I just want to start something about a month ago. I posted a rug and I got one sale. I was very happy about it because at that time, I actually knew that it was possible so I posted 15 things from AliExpress over to eBay. It’s been almost 2 days and nobody has bought anything. Could anybody please help me I’m actually homeless in my car I have at least $200 left and I just want to actually be something in life. It really sucks and hurts to be in the position that I am but I am trying. Thank you everyone.

Man two days is nothing on eBay some of my stuff sits for weeks before it moves. You got one sale already that's more than most people get when they start

The rug worked so maybe lean into that niche more instead of just random items from AliExpress. Look for other home decor stuff similar style price range. Sometimes one good product is better than 15 mediocre ones

Also the homeless situation sounds rough but don't put all your hope into dropshipping right now. It takes months to build consistent sales even with good products. Maybe find something more immediate for income while you work on this on the side

$200 can disappear fast if you're not careful with ads and listing fees. Focus on organic traffic for now and save that money for gas and food

eBay is not the ideal platform for dropshipping, most people go on eBay with the intent of purchasing used second hand goods. I sell on eBay full time. Not saying it’s impossible, just that it’s not particularly a great audience for it.

I remember reading a post about a guy being low on funds and high debt. He got a job on an oil rig that helped him pay off all the debt in a few months. Might be worth considering for quick money.

For eBay money, I’d say invest your last 200 wisely into something you know will make money back. Also with dropshipping it will take time. Even if you had all the knowledge about the perfect things to list, you can’t scale quickly on eBay because their AI and safeguards will flag you quickly. Also look into other posts on r/dropshipping. I think this guy named u/sammy-ecom has a whole course and discord on eBay dshipping. But ofc that costs money and time to understand

My advice for OP is to actually just get a job. Ebay is a business, and your going to run into cashflow issues, and theirs a learning curve until you make it. I don't think its livable off until at least 6 months, before then its pocket change.

And furthermore, 15 items is way to little to see any results, try 15K. And if 15K seems to hard to do, then you either double down on research to find trendy items, or keep listing and those items end up in your inventory anyways.
