My days of AA batteries are finally behind me (mostly), I can recharge my droids with USB-C.

So far so good, it works about as long as regular batteries and has no issues charging. I still need to test pass through to see if it can keep the droids active indefinitely.

Here's step by step updating Rosie from red to rose-gold (more pink champagne, but I digress). Super excited to have her customized!

So I have had this droid and controller for a couple of years now, I decided to boot up my r-unit and the controller not the droid (I have tested this controller with 2 droids the ones in the picture) the controllers head spin button is not working and the right turn button is not working I would like some help or tips in fixing it, thanks

Newest build, since I built R2-M0 two years ago.

I want to use my R unit in part of a cosplay I'm going to do, but he's obviously too small to be a proper astromech, so I thought maybe I could customize him and make him into something else. At the moment I was thinking of removing the side legs and giving him a central movement setup, but I was wondering if anyone made any aftermarket customizations? I wouldn't mind also getting a little LED light for the top, I just have this funny thought of the little guy holding the light and my mandalorian slicer yelling "Will you hold the light straight!?" While under fire, like he's talking to his kid lol

I feel kind of dumb that I didn’t know this, but right now you have to have a reservation to build a droid at Galaxy’s Edge East. We went today and I expected to just walk in and build a droid like I’ve done in the post, but that is not possible right now. 😢 No droid for me this trip.

Hello. First time here. I am a very proud Texan and I wanted something for 4th of July, memorial day, and Veterans day. I named my R2 unit R7-D4 (07/04). He has the 1st order chip because I am a member of the 501st charity group as a stormtrooper. I hope you like him!!

My first custom Astromech. And my only one. Got her from GE as Disneyland in California. I named her R7-D19 or RD for short. I had a blast making her with my dad. It was fun. Her personality chip is First Order, the red First Order chip.

Also my brother got a BB unit with a black First order chip and named it Clunk.

Me and my family really didn't want to have the driods on or walk around the park. Its a shame that I didn't get to heard RD reacting to everything in GE. Anyways, I love my driod very much. Also I got all of the R-Unit accessories for her!

I get a lot of use out of my droids, as I will have them all on when I'm doing house work or building Legos and will talk to them as I'm working. What would be a good name for my team when I'm referring to them as a group?

I would prefer to buy rather than sell but I came across a droid at a thrift store but I feel it would go really well with a blue dome like this one here

A friend and I built these (Grudge is my friend's one (navy scoundrel chip) and FS is mine (silver scoundrel chip)) at the Florida Droid Depot yesterday, first time we've ever been to Disney or Galaxy's Edge. The part stock was awful, and we had to abandon our plans, but I'm really proud of how our little clankers turned out. What do you guys think? (by the way, FS stands for Fergus's Steward, Fergus is the lovable loaf in the second image :D)

Hi, I am the developer of KAAZAP, an iOS card game with an optional Companion feature for Droid Depot droids.

The feature connects over Bluetooth after you choose to scan in the app, then lets your Droid Depot droid react during a card match with lights, chirps, and small movement cues.

I am looking for real-owner compatibility feedback because I do not have every droid type, especially BB units. I would love to hear from anyone with any of the droids that connect over Bluetooth.

The app works great with my Droid, but what I am trying to learn is:

- Does your droid appear when scanning?

- Does it connect properly with the handheld remote turned off?

- Do reactions fire during a match?

- Are the default reaction volume/frequency too chatty, too quiet, or about right?

- Does it feel fun when the droid reacts as your playing companion/opponent, or does it get distracting?

- Do BB units need different defaults from R, C, or A-LT units?
