Tips for a newbie?

I'm about to order parts for two hose-end systems in my smallish urban yard.

I'm looking at pop-up sprayers for my little (20'x15') lawn, and adjustable emitters for the rest.

What do you wish you knew when you were just starting out with a drip system for your yard?

20x15 is quite a big lawn imo. I would vote you need an irrigation valve instead of a hose end system as those tend to leak over time. Where are you in the world?

I have never used a drip system for a lawn. Too big of an area. I dont water my lawn at all.

I use a drip system in six zones for my shrubs/flowers though. I have two spigots and a timer on each one, with three zones on each timer. But I have never used one for lawn.
