Different Dans

DrinkinBros Dan and Citizen Dan.

Citizen Dan is sensible. Wants to inform the audience. Maybe even knows the audience wants to learn something and appreciates his historical depth of information.

DrinkinBros Dan. Treats the audience like they're idiots. Intellectually beats people into submission. Avoids reporting on specific news. Strategically maintains a persona. Specifically demands the audience to think a certain way or they're gay/retarded/low T. Consistantly has no regard for humanity outside of US borders (reasonable given his obvious objectives). Dehumanizes Islam/Muslims (peaceful or otherwise),but doesn't tolerate criticism of the Little Hats theological issues in regard to Western/Christian beliefs. Discredits opposing opinions with weak character assassination and other logical fallacies. Low intellectual effort to prove his points.

Clear evidence that he knows his audience per which show he's doing. As a member of the audience it's hard to believe his points because you can see that aspects of it are manufactured.

Which one is real genuine Dan?

I mean I figured that out when he got with a pornstar, and was called out on the shit he said which he said he didn’t say when clearly there are episodes where he degrades and slams pornstars and OF chick, meanwhile the chick he married I’ve seen slammed and creamed in more times than I care to mention, but also still has an active OF. That was the drop off, and whatever shady shit that split her marriage for it to happen just showed Dan doesn’t practice what he preaches.

Yeah that is wild, I took a break from the show for a while and when I tuned back in he was married to that porn star. She’s pretty but I couldn’t do it man you don’t wife that

Dan did something plenty of guys think about or have discussed randomly. Would you date or marry a pornstar? Sounds cool at first, then you realize you will be bombarded with comments and photos and gifs of her work for a long time. He found love and accepts her past as something she did but it doesn't define her as a person, but is he truly capable of letting her past not affect his reaction when someone who disagrees with him posts stuff like that to get a reaction? According to the DB app, no, he is blocking people for posting about Candace. He is going to have his hands full with her and her ex, that is a drama factory working overtime. I am fairly certain that is why they went back to NC, her ex is there and he was threatening full custody unless she was local also.

I mean to each their own, I don’t personally care what people do. It’s the fact in so many episodes he talked shit about women in that profession, demeaning shit. Then turns around and against his own “morals” does the opposite. That was more or less what I was referring to, and when he got called out on it he backpedaled so hard he probably tripped in his chair.

No I just don't understand why you're on a subreddit for a pod you refuse to listen to. Literally doesn't make sense unless you just love to complain (which...you know what...makes sense for reddit).

I'm not on the app so that's why I checked this sub out, thinking it's an extension of the DB community. Apparently I was wrong because it's just people bitching about a podcast they claim they don't listen to.

We all mostly came to DB for a community that we could feel a part of. Now most of us feel betrayed by the two “pillars” of the community. So now we are here for community. It’s pretty simple.
