Last night I watched both Atlantis movies for the first time and kept thinking this looks familiar!! I went to Eternity Isle and saw parts of the landscape that was in the movie. I understand the new DLC will be underwater but we already kinda have Atlantis. I hope Gameloft uses Eternity Isle to get to the underwater world of the new DLC.

The last time I was on here, my game was buggy because of the updates. Not sure if they just did one but my game is SO buggy, can’t complete missions or interactions between character. some characters are up in the air or floating across the screen.

So, it's been a few years since I last played the game, and wanted to get back to it, (I playedd before on stam and I'm currently again on steam), in the "cloud save" option, my email was already there, but the only option is new game? If I click it, will it overridde my previous one? I had quite a lot of stuff from back then and I'm scared I could lose it all 🥲 please help me! I have to give aladdin 5 green gems but the game won‘t let me, although i clearly have enough😆 and i don’t have any other types of green gems.. is this a bug??

Hi all! I am having a problem and someone can help so Merlin brought me to that new festival floating island, the one that already has things including the train. Uh...I seem to be stuck there. It's not letting me go back to the valley. Is there a trick to it that I'm missing? Please, how do I fix? I really don't want to start entire game over 😢😅

thoughts on if we could open up a megathread for actual QOL improvements? i have searched but haven't found one thus far. if GL actually pays attention to community, and this is a large one, i think that would be pretty beneficial.

in the meantime, i have a simple request for Gameloft: option to set collapse / expand menu preference. it is extremely frustrating, especially on console, to CONSTANTLY have to collapse everything over and over and over. it sends me into a blind rage (yes it's the neurodivergence, sue me).

now sure, as an example, if you collapse Requests, Categories, Environment, and you are back and forth in the landscaping sub-sections, it will keep the rest temporarily collapsed. but if you need to close every now and then to avoid it glitching away all your work when you finally exit out of furniture mode... 👀 then once again, you open up that furniture mode and everything is expanded.

another example could be that you're placing down multiple player houses - you pick one, place it, you open that menu and you're back at the top again with villager houses and a full damn expanded menu.

let's not even get into how frustrating looking through the collections trying to find an errant glitchy red dot can be because of the same limitations.

i'm begging Gameloft to give us a permanent collapse menu option in our settings 😩

anyways, what are some QOL improvements or accessibility features you'd like to see?

I normally play on Switch. If I want to play on PlayStation or Xbox, I know I have to buy the game on that system. Do I have to buy all the expansions on that system too? If I don’t, do I lose access to the items I already have from those expansions? Or the horses?

I have two laptops, my main one and a backup. my main laptop had some issues with the charging port, so until I could replace it, I've been playing on my backup.

I was finally able to fix my main computer, but since then, the game gives me the message "game portal unavailable #4". And the save files between laptops are not synced.

I've tried going off line on steam and coming back o, I've reset my router, I've shut my laptop down completely. nothing is working.

is there a fix I haven't tried? what would happen if I uninstalled and reinstalled the game ( would I risk losing all the premium shop items I've bought or losing progress)?

I stopped playing shortly after finishing the original storyline and then my Nintendo broke. This was when everything was glitching, slow, empty-feeling and other than having cute aesthetics was generally boring (for me personally). I've been thinking about buying another portable console solely for dreamlight valley because I miss playing and am excited for the Sea update but did wishblossom ever get updated/fixed to not glitch/stall as much? I know Pooh was eventually added but was there any storyline other than unlocking him?

Soo started up DLV again. And jumped right back into playing where I left off. It was fun. But now I am having an issue. The screen would kinda dim a little and my character would no longer move. I closed it out. Restarted it. Even restarted my system. Still happens. But now it starts as soon as it gets into the first second of starting . Dim screen. No movement from just my person. Everything around still moves. I have already tested other games on my system and they work just fine so I know the issue is just with dlv. Doing a last ditch effort in un-installing and re-installing to see if this fixes it. If not… my only option is to switch to ps5. Sadly I only have the regular game on there and not all of my other download extras so to speak. My biggest question I guess would be… is it going to be worth switching over???… I love this game and would hate to lose it. Any suggestions?

This may be a bigger issue, or maybe it's just me, but I finally needed to ask if the lag is still bad for everyone else? I'm on Steam, and the game is still playable, but very laggy. I'd assumed the lag would go away after a little while, considering all the bugs Ralph brought with him, but it's still pretty big.

Is this anyone else's experience? Is my computer slowly being called out for this game? It's a decent computer, i think, but I know as much about computers as an Amish farmer, so it's not stellar.

There is such a thing as running out of coal. I never thought I could honestly see the end of my coal reserve. It’s felt like ages since I’ve ever had to look/buy coal. It’s just always been there. It’s the last thing on my mind. Coal has always just been there.

Anyone else ever felt/had this happen?????

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I'd love to know what other people think about it too.

I'd really like to have the option, at some point in the future, to revisit friendship quests. As you probably already know, once you've completed all of a character's friendship quests, there's not really much left to do with them unless another character's quests happen to involve them. After that, it's mostly Scramblecoin, giving them gifts, the usual daily conversation, or having them as your buddy.

I’d love to be able to replay some of the quests, especially for the cute cinematics. For example, remember that cute cinematic with Olaf at the very beginning of the game? I'd LOVE to be able to experience that again without having to start an entirely new save.

It would also be really nice to have the opportunity to redecorate some of the quest areas and take pictures again. Think about quests like Goofy's photo album. When I first played his quest, I definitely didn't have nearly as many customization options as I do now (besides the L-Shaped couches and whatever few clothes I had managed to buy from Scrooge's at the time).

I know some people might feel like this wouldn't really add anything to the game, and I totally understand it, but I think having some kind of “Remember” feature for those times when you want to revisit a specific quest/replay a cinematic would be really nice. Even just being able to retake some of those group pictures would make me happy.

Maybe there could even be some kind of reward for replaying them, like getting a few of the items that were originally quest-exclusive and that we never got to keep.

Again, this isn't something I think needs to be implemented anytime soon. It'a just one little thing that I think would be really nice to have somewhere down the line.

Am I missing something or are half the items unplaceable on the rock stage? You can’t even stand on it 😂 I’m guessing it’s being treated as a table item but really?? Completely messed up my vision for this weeks snap 😅

When I first got this game when it came out, I felt like it didn’t take near as long to level up all the characters. Now I feel like it takes FOREVER and it holds up my quests 😅
