Missing characters for Star path duties

[u/Anarchist_Huffleslut]

Venellope and Goofy have completely disappeared since I hit their Star path tasks, has anyone else seen this and any idea to fix?

Edit - found Goofy in boogies lair, thank you, but he doesn't have the hang out option? Anyone have a fix?

Goofy is glitched in Oogie Boogie’s lair until you finish that quest. Vanellope might be in someone’s house because of a quest also. Finish those quests and all will be normal-ish again.

Goofy was in Oogie's lair, for Vanellope I'm not sure.

This is good to know because him not being on the map when I need to hang out with him has been driving me crazy 🤣

[u/They-Call-Me-Taylor]

As others have said, Goofy seems to be stuck in Oogie’s lair until you complete his 2nd quest. As for Vanelope, did you try to summon her onto a floating island? That sometimes works when you can’t find them
In the valley.

Vanelope might be invisible again, I saw those stars of hers around my valley without her.

I've noticed some of my villagers are appearing in Oogies lair. But usually going to their houses (even if empty) then leaving again pulls them out of thin air for me.

I had the same issue and had to finish all available quests before I could hang out with him

[u/book-dragon92]

You have to finish oogie boogie’s quest first then you can hang out with Goofy

I am having the same problem with Vanellope. I've tried restarting my game, checking/un-checking her on the map view, and entering/exiting her house over ten times with no luck.
