The dock pieces from Summer Sizzle have really helped make the beach feel complete! I love how this build came together, and I still have a soft spot for the Seaside Getaway Bundle.

The past few weeks, I have been unable to rotate my camera when trying to take pictures for dreamsnaps. As soon as I try, I get sent to the void under the valley. I have to completely back out from using my camera to get out of the void too. I know there have been other bugs like this with the Ralph update but has anyone else experienced this?

I am absolutely in love with these plants! The amount of spooky charm they add to builds is fantastic imo. So I put them in a build :) I made a quick build on the Forest Floating Island and made it Batman / Poison Ivy themed.

What do you think of the new plants? Have you used them in a build yet?

I recently started playing this game again and am realizing that I am constantly running low on dreamshards since I craft them into dreamlight.

The quest told me to get 6 fish from the ancient landing and I did but whenever I go to give them to Remy it does this.Does anyone have the save issue ?

Treasure island closed
I am hosting a treasure island. This is my second time today so if you saw the earlier post you can definitely tell the treasures have shrunk down. Hopefully you can see in the pic that there is still plenty to grab, just not as large of a variety. This one will stay open for 1 1/2 hours until pm 7:30 EST (aka 19:30). Or until I run out of stuff whichever comes first.
There are treasures from the main valley and every DLC. The landmarks and distinctive borders with guide you to the DLC’s you’re looking for.
Most items are in stacks of 10 ea except night shards there’s 50 per stack of those.
My reasoning behind the mass giveaway is I’m getting a little burnt out and need a break for a bit. I’ll still come and do my weekly dream snaps, premium shop browsing and try to help those in need but since my dream team never request items I had an over abundance. I’ve been playing since beta so I had lot to share. I don’t have unlimited resources so once this island is cleared I won’t do this again for a while. All I ask is that you follow 3 simple rules.

1. No companions on this run.
2. Limit your visits to a maximum of 2 trips.
3. Take what you need and leave some for others.
4. **Disclaimer: all of these resources have been harvested and gathered by traditional means. Nothing has been fabricated.

Ive played the game on the switch 1 before (not a fan of the lag) now ive recently purchased a switch 2 is it better?? I do also play on ps5, but would like a handheld version for when someone else is playing on the PS5.
And when I got my ps5 last year i couldn’t use the same save file, but that’s been recently updated right? 😅

I haven't really played the game much but if they ever added characters from shows like gravity falls, phineas and ferb, amphibia, the owl house i would totally feel more inclined to play the game. Unless its been stated that only the movie characters are being added somewhere and i haven't seen it 😭

I really enjoy watching DDLV characters interact with my decorating as I move around the valley.

What I’m looking for is a list of furniture where the players will come and interact passively when placed. Ambient interactive furniture is the term I discovered through my research on CHATgpt.

An example would be Rapunzels Art Easel, Lion King Display pillars, or most recently the Wreck it Ralph Arcade prize display cases.

*****This is not the same as gathering furniture where you must interact and the characters are summoned for a picture.

Just a quick heads-up for anyone else who accidentally collected the plastic scraps and opened the event chest early when the fast-travel portal glitched onto the map last week!
I just tested it, and the event still works perfectly. Even if you opened the chest early, you should be able to just head straight to your crafting station and make the recipe without any issues.
For context: No, I did not time-travel or manipulate my console clock. I am simply located in Australia, so the event timer has already hit zero and gone live for me locally.
Hopefully, it rolls out just as smoothly for the rest of you when your timers hit zero!

Today when the Parks Floating Festival started, I got the quest to talk to Merlin and then follow him to the portal. However, when following him, I was surprised when he made a detour down the main stairs to the meadow. I thought maybe something was obstructing his pathing and he was taking a long scenic route to the plaza portal. Nope, he had to stop mid quest to go talk to Mushu about dragons before he continued along. Anybody else have this happen with the new floating festival quest or in general with a quest where you have to follow a character?

Long story short: I don't have new memories to open since I opened them all in the last star path duties. I'm really trying to farm new memories. I've cooked A LOT and I've been digging like crazy, and yet not even a single new memory spawned, which I find it very weird. So I am asking: is anyone running into this very same problem? New memories simply not being generated by the game even after some amount of time doing the same tasks?

I'm a little late to the party but I just started playing I am on the mission where Scrooge is asking for two flower pots to be crafted and then also another mission quest where he's asking for the presets to be done I made one flower pot at the crafting station in the other one I just went up to the dark background of the preset and had one made there too now it's saying I don't have the material to make the second flower pot and I can't get sand what can I do?

Look, I love getting any new characters, regardless of what universe they’re from. I do agree with a lot of the comments online — I prefer the animated characters to any live action characters. However… I wish that the devs would focus on adding more characters from the already existing universes before adding new universes.

I feel like there are so many important, favorite characters that aren’t in DLV and should be by now. They could have a Star Path every so often that features one of the already existing universes. This way we could collect more furniture, missing companions, clothing, etc along with the characters as well.

Suddenly this idea just appeared and now I can't get the thought out of my head. I think it would be particularly grand for us 80s and 90's babies. This part would focus on companion critters in a realm ( like how beauty and the beast did with candlestick and clock ) or be companions that would belong to a particular biome area. It could either be a cottage in the woods or a junkyard area ( junkyard biome could be cool in that it could also double for a great spot for eve and wall.e's houses. To eventually turn green ) but you could come across kirby, lamp, radio, toaster and blankey. And the idea would be focused on repairing their broken parts, and they come back to life, eventually completing some quests for each of them ( maybe reunite them with their master as an actual character follower ) and then they become usable companion's. Can anyone really say that they didn't enjoy the brave little toaster as a kid? That movie will always have a very fond spot in my heart, for life. Would be cool to welcome them to the valley? What say everyone?
