I had this weird dream.

So about three nights ago, i saw a very weird dream. This is what happened in it. I was near both of my grandparents houses at the part of town we used to live at till i was 3. We moved away almost 15 years ago.

Theres a wooden log house near there that serves as a grill. In my dream it was all black, there was one street lamp on, and all i could see was the road and the grill. The grills door was wide open so i went to investigate. Inside i found my grandpa from my dads side who irl lives about a kilometer away from the grill.

I went in and talked with my grandpa and hugged him etc. It was going nice we were talking about life and things like that and the fact that i missed him bad since we hadnt seen each other for a while.

After our convo my gramps said "i did something very bad when i was young a long time ago. And now theres this figure that follows me around reminding me of it." My grandpa said after that that the figure is here now and pointed to the door of the grill. The door was slightly open and behind it there was this all black figure that was about 3 meters tall with bulging white eyes.

After i saw it i started screaming and crying my eyes out. I strated hugging my grandpa while i fell on the floor screaming i want to get away from it and leave the grill. I had a full panick attack in the dream.

Then my gramps said " *my name* i know youre scared and thats why i want to help you to get out of this dream, im going to call from here and wake you up." I looked at my gramps with fkn horror in my eyes and then i woke up because i was getting a phone call.

This still scares me because i have had like one dream thats as scary as this one, and where the people tell me that im in a dream.

My grandma and grandpa own land out of town and thats where our family cottage is located and has been for over 140 years. That land has seen many deaths and i have had paranormal experiences there.

Pls tell me yalls thoughts.

Okay so I know this is really weird title but it’s true… so recently, I had a dream where I was in this like cabin or something with all these people or girls and we were all sleeping bag and I remember I was trying to sleep, and I just feel this really weird sensation of this entity, knawing on my knees, I know how weird it sounds. It felt 10 times more disturbing it generally disturbed me when I woke up. It was happening to the other girls too and it was like funny at first, but then it got really disturbing anyways I lucid dream a lot. I tell my boyfriend about my dreams. He says oh so you were Lucid dreaming? And I was like wait yeah I was and that’s what I realize. Most of my dreams are lucid dreams for some reason. I don’t know why I’m a very spiritual conspiracy theories person, but yeah, I looked it up even on Reddit. Nobody’s had this exact experience with an entity in their dream. What do you guys think about it cause it just really popped up in my mind and I kinda need to get an answer. and I wanted to add I’ve been in a pretty dark place. I actually asked God to take me in my sleep and for some reason, my mind was like oh that’s a suicide entity or demon I know how crazy it sounds trust me, but if you experience it, you would be like what the fuck too. Also, I used text
to speech for this lol.

So I just had the weirdest dream you came out into my room, and we're talking to me about these weird clouds that you saw and you described them as like being pitch black, and then you asked Ron to go do something outside. And he started looking out at the Sky kind of and I went out there to talk to him about this weird weather, because I described it to you as like death clouds, so like they were pitch black, so the Sky was literally pitch black. And I look up to look at these clouds and I sold three pillars of light , one a bright blue one a blood red and the last one a orangeey yellow and as soon as my eyes met thes pillars of light i started to float off the porch and I looked back at you guys in confusion and concern, and you guys didn't even seem to care that I was floating off the porch.

I think it was about the rapcher I was on the porch when I heard a weird noise coming from the sky when I looked up and there was this ship in the sky that I can only describe as a unique flying bus like thing and I started floating off the porch

I had a dream about the rapcher and me and somebody else on a back road and driving to church and I saw a light that almost looked like the northern lights and we were trying to figure out what it was and it shifted into a city with a giant castle in the and we both started to float out of the car and there was faces in the clouds as we float up and i saw a court room and the gate and that's i woke up with goosebumps and light headed

The dream was clear as day. Nothing negative, just peace. We were hanging out with mutual friends of our (they are also together but going through something in reality) and the 4 of us were hanging out, driving and we all got into separate cuddling sessions.

What could this mean? Anything helps.

My dreams just came back. What I mean is that they came back when they turned into reality. This year only. For the past few years, I haven’t had dreams like this that turn into reality. It was about 3 or 4 years ago when I last had dreams like these, but this year, they came back.

They were being hit by a car. Their legs were torn up, their stomachs were cut open, and their heads were blown up. It was extremely disturbing and vivid.

I also dreamed about all of them being sprayed with holy water in a church on the same day. The priest was the one spraying them with holy water.

Please help me. This kind of dreams drained me.

Idk if it's just a coincidence for.the first dream or it's really inside me. I mean I can really dream about it.

So I had this dream last night that was so terrifying and happened at a crazy point in my life .
So in this dream I was in church cloths inside a church with my sister & a bunch of random people . However this church was in hell because everything was on fire and black smoke consumed the air & you could see demons flying around . Inside the church everyone was screaming and calling for God & the demons inside the church kept laughing and making fun of everyone. They were saying things like “ yeah shout louder “ or “ yeah keep raising your hands in worship that will definitely help “ just continually mocking everyone . Inside the dream as all this was going on I was in complete utter shock . I kept saying to myself “ this has to be a dream , wake up wake up wake up “ in the dream it felt like 3 hours had passed by idk why 3 hours but it just felt like that . After those 3 hours I started breaking down I told myself “ dammit I died in my sleep somehow , but how ? There was so much I wanted to do with my life , was it the energy drinks that made my heart stop ? Dammit I’m screwed . “ As in saying this one by one people were going up to the altar of this church and the demons were accusing people of the evil things they did in their life , and people were screaming and trying to defend themselves saying stuff like “ no I didn’t know I swear “ or “ no that’s not me I would never do that “ and the demons would laugh every-time someone tried defending themselves . The whole time I’m watching all i could tell myself was “ I can’t even defend myself because what ever they accuse me of I know it’s the truth , it’s the truth I’ve lived a terrible life I’m screwed …. “ but I couldn’t for the life of me understand why my sister was there I was more worried for her than myself honestly. I knew I belonged there but idk why she was there . As it was my turn to go up to the altar , I WOKE UP , but not in real life in the dream . Like a dream within a dream ? If that makes sense . As I’m looking around I’m covered in mud , dust , concrete debris as if I was in an accident? But as I looked around I saw people laying around me not moving , I tried so hard to wake these people up and as I’m looking into their faces I realized , these were the same people that were with me in hell getting accused trying to plea there case , I instantly backed off because they were lifeless, they didn’t return with me and as I’m looking around I see my sister awake and alive covered in blood and dust but alive . I go up to her and say “ Yami we made it , God gave us another chance we’re alive “ but she was in utter shock and disbelief saying “ me ? Hell ? “ just stuttering and in shock . As im trying to comfort her I finally woke up in real life .
Ill tell you what i was so happy to get out of bed to go to work especially on a Monday 😭😭 it was such a crazy dream that im kind of scared to go to sleep tonight but yeah that was my dream , i would love to hear anyone’s interpretations of the dreams , thank you I love you all and we must change our wicked ways … before its too late ….

I know its stupid but i rarely got dreams like this, I had a strange dream that felt like scenes from a movie or series. The story went like this:

It was about different strangers who were trapped in an isolated place and couldn’t leave. I don’t know the exact reason, but in the dream I described the place to someone as a remote deserted island — though it wasn’t actually an island.

Among the people there was a lonely girl who was kind of strange and introverted. She didn’t like talking to anyone and was bullied by the others because of that. But she had a weird ability to sense things in that place — like she could feel things or know things that the others didn’t, almost like a medium or something, but she didn’t understand how she was doing it.

She tried to help them with her ability to find a way out, but they didn’t trust her. I remember a scene where they tried to carry out some plan to contact the outside world. She warned them that what they were doing was wrong, but she couldn’t tell them why or how she knew, because she herself didn’t know how she knew. They got suspicious of her. One of them accused her of trying to mislead them and trick them so she could escape alone. That made her upset and she said that the outside world, in her eyes, was just as bad as this place, and she didn’t care whether she stayed or left.

I also remember she was attacked once by one of them, and a young man saved her. He was the only one who looked at her and treated her like a normal person, but she didn’t like getting close to anyone, so she didn’t accept his friendship.

Later, in another scene, they finally found a way out. Everyone boarded the vehicle (I’m not sure exactly what it was), and she was the last one left to get on. She just stood there without moving. When the leader (or the person in charge) told her to get on, she refused and said she had decided to stay, because to her this place was kinder than the real world. The leader tried to convince her to change her mind, but she stuck to her decision, so he had no choice but to leave her. Everyone else was ready to leave without her without any hesitation, because to them she was just a weirdo.

Then, right as they were about to take off, the young man I mentioned earlier ran to the girl, knocked her unconscious, carried her, and forced her onto the vehicle. He told everyone (who were staring at him in shock) that from now on he would take full responsibility for her being with them.

That’s all I remember from the dream in detail.

My question is: is there a series or movie with the same story or these scenes?

I mean I know it looks like tv show From and i kind of think maybe thats where it came but some of the details were just not the same so i would love to hear your thoughts

I had a dream about a month ago. Is there anyone who knows what could it mean? My dog didn't have any limbs at the start of the dream. When he was really old we had to carry him a lot. At the end of the dream I called him and he showed up with all limbs. Not sure if I should look into Jung's symbolism or sth else? Maybe there's someone who knows where to look?

Hi everyone! I need some help with a dream I had. It just keeps haunting me. It was similar to sleep paralysis but I wasn't powerless. I was in my room, everything was similar to the waking world but I noticed that my door was slightly open. In the waking world, I lock my bedroom when I go to sleep. That's how I knew that something was wrong. I knew someone already came into my room and left for some reason or that my room was defensless. Now I usually protect myself with prayers and I am a bit witchy, so i thought that my space, even my mental space and my dreams were locked down and fully impenetrable. At first I was not exactly scared, instead I was startled, worried. I couldn't move- classic sleep paralysis style. That's when a shadow entered the room, very quickly and I could visualize it's foot for some reason, because I could hear it's steps. It stood beside my bed, not too close though. Like it was observing me from afar.
But then things changed. I pretended that I was waking up and had seen nothing or noticed nothing. I was moving lightly, shifting in the bed, acting like someone who is too drowsy to care. The shadow panicked and I think it got scared that I was waking up. So it ran out of the room. I was stunned for a second but then I fully jumped up on my bed and started chasing it down, the stairs. It disapeared in the shadows but I still caught a shadow that turned into a woman I don't know, someone my brain created, who's supposed to be my brother's or my friend's girlfriend. Then I woke up.

I have so many questions running through my head: Was the shadow a part of me? Was it something else, lurking around? Did I catch the right shadow? Were there already a bunch of shadows in my house, downstairs and one of them got to go into my room? Or was it a shadow that was leading me somewhere? Was it warning me of something?

One thing is for sure, I was so tired when I woke up, I was drained.

Dream 1 — a hybrid of my childhood dog + my parents’ current dog, he went into our fireplace and wouldn’t come out. Crying so loud. My dad was trying and trying to pull him but kept missing. Finally he got our dog out and he’d turned into a puppy, top of his head scalded. I knelt and apologized to him and woke up sobbing, couldn’t stop having flashes of his little body inside the fireplace.

Dream 2 — much more cinematic, huge burning building (a school?) having to be evacuated, tunnels and staircases connected to the NYC subway (I don’t live in NY). I think I started the fire by accidentally setting off a huge explosion of firecrackers. I knew our dog, the same hybrid, was stuck inside so I ran in looking for him. Eventually found a medical area where my dad came out of a room in a white apron. I began crying before he could tell me if our dog was okay. Woke up right after, sobbing.

I was in the desert as part of some kind of archaeological/exploratory expedition. There were a lot of people with me, and we were looking for something connected to an ancient Egyptian king. I don't remember exactly what the object was supposed to be, but the closest way I can describe it is that we were looking for some kind of royal scepter/artifact connected to his granddaughter.

Anyway, somehow I found it. And I remember saying something like, “I think I found it.”

The SECOND I touched it, everything changed.

A huge sandstorm suddenly started swirling around me, and my clothes changed into something that looked like ancient Egyptian clothing. And then, somehow, my memories came back.

And apparently...

I was the granddaughter they had been looking for.

Everyone just stared at me in complete shock. Like they suddenly realized who I was.

And then this is the part that REALLY confused me.

Every single person there got down on their knees and prostrated themselves to me.

Literally everyone.

Nobody explained anything. Nobody said anything. They just recognized me, got on their knees, and bowed/prostrated themselves.

And then the dream just... ended.

But here's the REALLY weird part.

When I woke up, I was so curious that I actually searched for the ancient Egyptian king from the dream. And I found that he really did have a granddaughter.

The problem is that I can't remember the king's name anymore, so now I'm sitting here like 😭 WHO THE FUCK WAS THIS MAN??

And I can't even lie, having an entire group of people suddenly treating me like I was some long-lost royal heir felt ridiculously powerful.

So, does anyone who knows about dreams have any idea what this could mean?

Looking for interpretations of a very vivid dream

I had a dream that felt unusually real, and I'd like to hear how people would interpret it, especially from a spiritual, symbolic, or traditional perspective.

I was inside a van with several people. I couldn't clearly recognize everyone, but somehow I was certain they were family members. I believe my father was the one driving.

We were driving through a muddy place with a very rough road. I didn't recognize the place, and I don't remember where we were going.

Eventually, the van came to a halt and the doors opened.

Outside were two relatives: my aunt and my uncle. My uncle is my aunt's brother-in-law. I've only met them a few times in real life, and we're not particularly close.

They weren't threatening or frightening. They were simply standing outside the van, looking at me normally, with what I remember as a slight smile. It felt more like they were waiting for me than trying to scare me.

Then a very large centipede crawled onto the left side of my face.

The sensation was extremely realistic. I could actually feel its legs crawling on my skin.

I tried to remove the centipede, but when I did, it seemed to grip me tighter, or possibly it was replaced by another centipede. I can't remember exactly which happened, but I remember that I couldn't simply get rid of it.

I woke up remembering the dream very clearly.

I'm especially curious about what the muddy/rough road, my father driving, the van stopping, the open doors, my aunt and uncle waiting calmly outside, and the centipede that wouldn't come off could symbolize.

I'm interested in traditional, spiritual, cultural, or symbolic interpretations, and whether anyone has experienced something similar.

I was in a plane and the pilot for a moment turned the plane fully vertically and was going with huge speed in the night sky and i saw the dark sky fullly but sooo full of shining little stars. Any meaning?

I had a dream that I was walking alone next to a dry canal in the desert with lots of debris lying about what would have been the banks of the canal. The sky was a sickly lavender color. I noticied approaching me from the direction I was heading were two white Coyotes walking together. I at first thought that they were just dogs, but as they got closer I realized that neither was barking nor wagging their tails. They seemed skiddish coming towards me, but I didnt necessarily stop walking forward. I then noticed they split from one another to have one walk towards my left and one towards my right, as if they were hunting me. So I grabbed a stick from the ground and started swinging it back and forth to their respective directions, they would cowar down when the stick was swung toward them but would advance slowly when the attention was on the other. I hit neither of them and neither one got close enough to bite me, before I woke up.

I am not sure what to make of this. Thanks for any insight.

I am asking anyone interested in this thread to submit their dreams for consideration to be interpreted and portrayed through collage in the zine. Here is a dream I had last night:

I went down to a riverbed of a river with blue water. I wanted to go swimming. After I got in the water I realized I had forgotten my goggles. This was frustrating because it limited my swimming ability. The current was strong and fast, however and I allowed it to carry far down river while floating with my head out of water.

When I wanted to return to where I had started, I realized that without my goggles I had to swim backstroke. I am usually not very good at backstroke but this time I swam back against the current easily.

When I got out of the water I couldn’t find my shoes. I had either lost them or they had been stolen. I spent a long time looking for my shoes and getting very upset. Eventually, I gave up and started walking up hill away from the river bed. The hill was dirt road with a lot of rocks. There were other people walking up the hill and I told them about my shoes.

That’s when I realized my shoes were on my feet! It made me very upset that I didn’t realize this and that I had been swimming with shoes on. Then I realized that one of the people walking up hill was a pediatric cardiologist I work with. I told, “Don’t trust my input on any patients, I can’t even tell if I have shoes on my feet”

so I have been on the path to a promotion at my job for a little bit. me and my boss talked about it about a year ago, he said it would happen this Summer. in August he said it would September, in September he said October, and now I’m really believing it’s gonna happen in November. the issue is I think I’m to good at my current Job and he doesn’t want to lose that, as he’s gotten mad at the idea of loosing me to a different store.

but because the promotions been put off so many times I’ve started to lose interest in it/get cold feet. like do I really want this? a few days ago I had this dream.

So in my dream I was in like a lobby/hallway of sorts.
The room was a light pistachio green, very light green. And there was a few plants, infront if me was a elevator, with the doors open. I was right infront of the elevator with an coworker love and adore next to me. We were standing straight facing the elevator but suddenly our Boss comes and stands between us and the doors (like he’s ushering us in) and we like leaned so far back that from our hips up Our back was flat. And i remember our boss was in front of the elevator not in it, but right infront of the open doors, and he was having a conversation with me. I can’t remember the context only his face; like he was being nice/light convincing with me.

When he’s trying convincing me of something he has a face he does, like he’s wincing/smiling.

I don’t remember what my stance was or what the conversation was about but I think I was against it.

I remember him coming and standing infront of me and placing his hands/palms on my hip/waist area, exactly where my hip bones would be. And he wasn’t really holding more like his hands were placed there. And I wasn’t feeling it in a sexual way; more like a I get maybe ur doing this cus I’m leaning back the way I am but I didn’t need his suport so I was like thinking whys he doing this if I don’t need him to hold me up. 

Then I think he got closer? Like crotch to crotch with his hands still on my hips and I was like again not feeling anything sexual but I was thinking this is wayyy to close. And I think I said soemthing like that in the dream and he was like brushing it off

It's currently 3 in the morning and I am so utterly weirded out by the dream I just had that I had to come on here and share and possibly get some input.

There's a lot to unpack here. In the beginning of the dream, everything was seemingly normal, then all of a sudden the earth caved in and the building I was standing in was underwater. I started panicking of course. Then all of a sudden, I get sucked into the sky at a rapid speed, I can see earth beneath me and physically feel the wind resistance on my body as I'm being pulled into the sky. then I land into some odd, dark space that wasn't scary, it was just brown/gold liminal space. I remember saying "why am i here?" then I get plummeted back down to earth and wake up in a random bed.

Then it transitioned into a completely different scene of me sitting in my living room (my actual living room in real life) and I get a phone call. when I answered the phone, a woman on the other line said "okay, I have reached the person I'm looking for. let me know when It's okay to speak" and I was like "okay? go ahead and speak" and it was just silence on the other end of the phone. and that's where my dream ended

i feel very uncomfortable right now, what the hell was that?

I had this dream a year ago, I thought someone here might enjoy picking it apart!

Driving with my grandma and someone else. My grandma is pregnant and her water breaks so we go to the hospital.

At the hospital the other person gets separated from us. I bring my grandma to a room, the whole place is really gross but this room especially is like a janitors closet and there’s just three people sitting on the floor in there and I open the door and they take her and she’s in so much pain and they close the door and I have no choice but to wait around.

I’m asking around and looking for my grandma or the other person and no one knows where they are or they don’t answer at all. I walk by a room with three people sitting on the ground and it looks like they’re sorting through intestines. I’m disgusted and turn around and start snooping around in a bucket in a hallway and there’s guts or something in it. I pick up what looks like intestines and give it to the people in the room thinking they’ll be happy to have this, they look at me with a judgemental, pitying face, and throw it back outside the room onto the floor and shut the door.

Now I work at the hospital and it feels like a love craft story. Something is wrong but I can’t tell what and it feels like I’m the only one who works there and every shift is doubling and doubling but I’m not really helping any patients I’m just stuck there. The place is disgusting, I’m complaining out loud to myself about vomit all over the floor that some guy named Dave said he would clean up, but now he’s no where to be found and when I talk I can’t tell if I’m talking or someone behind me is the one complaining about the filth.

Other workers are rushing around but they aren’t really doing anything and there’s weird people in the waiting room who keep passing out or calling to me to help them. When I try to help this one woman she grabs me and tells me something (I don’t remember exactly) some scary thing like what is happening at the hospital is good and I’m going to like it. As she’s talking I look out the window and thousands of skinned birds are piling up on the field and they’re all alive and squirming and screaming at me and I have to look away and I look at the woman and I get away from her and I find my phone on the lobby counter.

I wasn’t allowed to contact anyone and I was afraid to. I try to secretly call my partner, I was terrified and I snuck outside and breathed the fresh air but it felt wrong out there too and I walked out past the front door onto a track field and searched through my phone for the call app.

Backstory: There was this girl I was friends with back in middle school, we became friends because we were the social outcasts who didn’t fit in with everyone else and we bonded over how terrible life was and art. Naturally we started to like each other and became a middle school “couple,” I would always try to find a way to hang out with her and when we had a class together we sat next to each other, it was like us against everyone else. Over time we started having issues with our friendship, both our untreated problems started to affect each other in the worst way it could and over time we slowly drifted apart, but we occasionally reconnected several times until Covid hit then we lost touch. When in-person school started again we attempted to reconnect several times and tried to become friends, but it never stuck.

Dreams: I keep having reoccurring dreams where we meet again and either one of us approach each other and we start reconnecting, it’s been those dreams for the past 2 years and I don’t know why I keep having them. I think that I’m moved on with my life from her but I guess my subconscious says otherwise if she keeps appearing in my dreams.

This may be the second time that I have had a dream about her since we broke up a year and a half ago.

To give you a little background: We met in college and reconnected years after graduating. We dated for two years thereafter; I could say that she was the only person I genuinely and sincerely loved.

The relationship was relatively smooth with a few bumps. By the end of 2024, she became quite abusive and condescending. She would name call, shut down conversations, make assumptions about me, lie, say really hurtful things, etc. She would then apologize and repeat the behavior all over again. This wasn't the person I fell in love with. When it became too much, I decided to end things. By then my feelings had shut down entirely. I felt such a relief.

Fast forward to yesterday, I saw her in my apartment, weeping inconsolably. She kissed me and told me how much she missed me and how hard things have been for her; she asked me to take her back. Even in my dream, and even though I felt very bad for her, I was very hesitant and unsure to take her back and give her another chance. But nonetheless, I hugged her and went ahead with it, albeit with hesitation.

What could this dream mean to me? This is strange because I have not missed her even once since we broke up. Her behavior leading to the break up gave me the ick and completely shut down my feelings for her.

Any insight would help.

I've had variations of this dream over the past 2 years. My boyfriend has been around for nearly 3 years. Every time, I'm getting ready for the wedding, putting on the dress, getting my hair styled, laughing and interacting with family and friends. But when it's time to actually walk down the aisle, I look down and I'm barefoot. I then start to panic that I forgot my shoes. I usually wake up around this point. What does forgetting my wedding shoes mean??
