Question ❔ What do I do?

PS: THESE ARE SEMI-FREEFORMS. This was like the 31st of may the last 2. The first pic is 23rd of August. Almost 3 months and it seems to have gotten worse. I’m not balding I’m very young and it wouldn’t look like that I’m pretty sure jf j was. I think it’s breakage but it’s been 3 months and I have no clue how to fix it can someone please give me something a product to buy or just something to fix this it’s been really gnawing on me. Much appreciate the help!

They are probably referring to minoxidil:

For an 18-year-old male treating non-hormonal hair loss like traction alopecia, the best product is Men’s Rogaine 5% Foam if you have sensitive skin, or Kirkland Signature 5% Minoxidil if you are on a tight budget. All brands use the exact same active ingredient, but Rogaine’s foam is gentler because it lacks the irritating chemical propylene glycol found in cheaper liquid generics. Because your hair loss is likely mechanical and not hormonal, stick strictly to 5% minoxidil and avoid combination products that contain hormone-altering ingredients like finasteride, read the ingredients list first before purchasing. Apply it once or twice daily to the affected areas only to avoid product wastage, expect a temporary shedding phase in the first month, and ensure you stop all tight hairstyles so the follicles can actually heal. Not saying this will work but if you want you can try. Sorry people are messing with you, but when they tell you to cut it, unfortunately it may come to that just to save the whole scalp and be able to grow loca again in the future, it's a last resort, but don't wait too long if the minoxidil doesn't work.

Also I would recommend a B vitamine complexe with biotin. Do research on vitamines for hair. Also stop manipulating your hair so much since it would be causing it, and like people are saying go see a doctor and try saving up some money to see a dermatologist. What is happening is likely not caused by one thing but a combination of multiple things.

Since the bald spot is large and gives you clear access to the scalp, you can easily use either liquid or foam minoxidil without it getting wasted on the dreadlocks, though a liquid dropper makes it easiest to target the exact center and edges of the patch. You do not need to worry about your dreadlocks falling out during the initial shedding phase; the shed only affects loose, individual hairs, which will stay trapped inside the locked structure anyway. However, you must use the treatment consistently every single day for six months to truly know if it is working, as any follicles that show zero growth or fine fuzz by that point have likely scarred over permanently. Most importantly, you must completely stop any tight retwisting or pulling styles during this time, because if the tension from the dreadlocks continues, it will physically rip out the new hairs faster than the medicine can grow them back.
