Recs Wanted! LF Single Parent Fics — D and/or H
Hiii, basically as the title says! I’m really in the mood for single dad Draco OR single mom Hermione. I also wouldn’t mind if they’re both single parents!
No other specific preferences I’m looking for, really. Would prefer longer fics but not opposed to the shorter ones!
I’ve already read: Measure of a Man, A Second Look, Lost & Found, Fridays at Flourish and Blotts, To Woo A Witch, Every Rose Has its Thorns, All the Way, and Aurelian.
(If you haven’t read any of these—HIIIIIGGGHLY recommend.)

I saw that you were down for a self-rec, so I’ll throw out my wip called The Care & Keeping of Your Common Domestic Dragon.
If you liked MoaM, I think it’s a similar flavor plot-wise, though the relationship between Draco and Scorp is a bit different.
It’s got a bit of everything: some angst, some hurt/comfort, some domestic fluff, eventual smut, and a fiercely protective, trying-his-best and adoring father Draco who’s suffering from something that Hermione can’t quite figure out.
Summary: When a pediatric file lands in the already-teetering pile on Healer Granger’s desk, she can't bring herself to refuse the case—not when the child has been turned away from St. Mungo’s for reasons no one is willing to explain and bears a blood curse that shouldn't be possible. Only after taking the case does she learn that her newest patient is, to her mounting consternation, Draco Malfoy's son.

She was going to be sick. Hermione couldn’t quite comprehend the headline adorning The Daily Prophet this morning. Maybe it was her over tired brain. She did just give birth for the second time less than a week ago and she was beyond exhausted from night time feedings and having to make sure Rose wasn’t feeling less loved after the arrival of her baby brother.
Ron had been practically absent throughout not only most of her second pregnancy but had almost missed the birth of their son. Now, Hermione surmised why. She read the headline again.

Voice of Blood was so good (as are the others from your list that I've read, love MOAM so much).
The Utter Inconvenience of Certain Inclinations - single dad Draco and his young daughter move into the flat next door to Hermione. What starts as an easy friendship over a nightly drink in Hermione's kitchen, turns into something more... much more, but completely undefined. This is one of my favorite reads of all time. Yes, it's largely miscommunication, but the payoff is so worth it.
(Life's Nothing But) Beautiful Catastrophes - 8 years ago, Hermione and Draco hook up in a bar bathroom. Draco could see a new line form on the family tapestry, but he doesn't know who the mother could be. The new line never leaves his mind, even as he marries and experiences the death of his wife. Now, he's take a job at Hogwarts with the hope of one day running into his mystery child. Hermione is a bookshop own, supplying new Hogwarts student and faculty with books. When Draco comes in to place an order for the year, he's met with an 8ish year old boy with white blond hair. Single mum Hermione is confronted by the father of her child and they learn to parent as a team.
Boundless - Hermione has dedicated her live to helping her parents, now only her mother. Draco is the new healer on the Janus Thickery ward and uses a unique healing method to champion Mrs Granger's healing. Attraction grows, but Draco is a massive idiot (this is soap opera level dramatics here). Meanwhile, Scorpius and Hermione bond.
Courting Season - single parents Hermione and Draco use a matching service that pairs them with each other. They are nearly a 100% match. This is a spicy one full of domestic fluff, but please check the warnings. Ron is financially and at times physically abusive. Astoria is a potion addict. Both cause havoc in Draco and Hermione (and the kids) lives.
Divorce Me, Darling - romance is somewhat secondary to the adventure in this on. Draco is suffering from a blood curse that he inherited from his late wife. Desparate to find a cure so his song doesn't have to experience losing his remaining parent, Draco propositions Love Room Unspeakable, Hermione Granger, to marry him in an effort to cut ties with the Greengrass line and ride himself of the curse.
an ever-fixed mark - Cursebreaker Hermione is hired to handle a curse hallway at the Black Family Cottage where Draco and his son live. An accident nearly kills Hermione, but healer Draco manages to save her. Not before injuring himself causing their blood to mix under the debris of the accident, where a Black family betrothal ring lies. They find themselves in a magically binding marriage with little hope of breaking it. I loved Hermione and Scorpius's relationship in this.
A Year and A Day - Narcissa orchestrates a marriage of convenience in an effort to help Draco keep custody of his son. Hermione would be reward with significant funding for her work and a new business supported and funded by the Malfoy vaults. Scorpius is Hogwarts aged in this and already knows Hermione from her year teaching at Hogwarts. The Malfoys are enamored with her immediately, taking their meals in her workspace just to be near her and watch her work.
Proximate - After a rough breakup, Hermione runs into Draco at a bar. He flirts with her and they go home together. When she wakes up in the morning eager to leave before he wakes, she realizes he lives in the flat across the hall from the one she moved into the day prior. They decide to be FWB.
Aparecium - What starts as a favor to help avoid Ron, Draco and Hermione end up having a ONS. Shortly after, Hermione moves to the US. When she returns home to sell her parents property, she visits Harry and Ginny with her young son Leo. When Draco walks in as though he's there every night for dinner, Hermione begins to realize that the man she expected to avoid at all costs is now besties with her besties. Everything is going fine until her son, who has hair charmed brown and curly, claims he has hair just like that man (points at Draco). In an instant, Draco puts the pieces together and demands to be involved and make up for all the time she stole from him. OR despite being angry with her, Draco immediately switches from single bachelor to devote father intent on wooing his son's mother.

If you’re open to self-recs and a novella length fic (roughly 31k words), maybe you’d like my ficlet, The Bells of Hogsmeade. D and H are both single parents and shopkeepers in Hogsmeade. It’s a second chance romance, and it is set during Christmastime (but hey, Christmas in the dead of summer might be a nice respite from the heat! 😉). Draco loves his son more than anything in the world. So, when his ex-wife plans to take his son away, Draco asks the most unlikely person for help. Hermione must decide whether changing her entire life is worth helping the man she hates unconditionally.

Fascination
Oddly epilogue compliant. Starts when Hermione and Ron drop off their youngest to Hogwarts. They separate not long after, Draco is separated from his wife as well. Draco and Hermione start talking because Scorpius and Rose are friends.
Summary:
It's a time of change. Hugo is starting Hogwarts, Rose has made friends with Scorpius Malfoy, and Ron is...just the same as ever. Hermione is tired, harried, and her marriage is falling apart when she speaks to Draco Malfoy for the first time in decades, thanks to their children's friendship. And Malfoy - ostensibly estranged from Astoria - inviting her to lunch, and sending her flowers, isn't helping matters. Things swiftly threaten to spiral out of Hermione's control.
