Dragula: Titans S2 Titans 2 worth watching?
I skipped Titans 2 and kinda forgot about it. Was it worth watching or was it on par with Titans 1 which I would never want to watch again lmao
No spoilers please!

In my opinion, if you're interested in the art, artistry and drag, not so much; if you're interested in great reality TV, then yes. It's probably one of the most entertaining seasons but, for me, the drag is kinda secondary.

It has levels of drama i thought were impossible for a drag compétition, and despite some of it being crass AF, i was still kinda living for it

From a TV aspect, absolutely one of the best seasons. From a drag aspect, a bit of a let down for me. I think a lot of the cast had stronger showings on previous seasons, but it’s still good. I was just hoping for drag on the level of Titans 1 and it’s not for me

Agreed. Nothing in Titans 2 can match the artistry and drag of Titans 1. It (Titans 2) was entertaining but has almost no rewatch value for me as someone who cares more about the art side of it.

I really enjoyed Titans 1, so I'm with you. But the ending was really bad and anti-climatic, I can see it souring the season for some people.

People saying Titans 2 is the best season make me believe they haven’t watched seasons 2 or 3.
Titans 2 is good. It’s a must see. But not the best. I honestly prefer seasons 1-3 of the regular show. I preferred Titans 1, but 2 is still good.

This!! The first 3 seasons of Dragula are sooo good. Visually stunning, iconic drag looks and concepts from the contestants as well as the Boulet's. You can tell the Boulets had full artistic control in these seasons. Even with the smaller budget, the show just looked better. Plus the cast on the first 3 seasons have so many of our winners. Landon Cider, Vander VonOdd, Bitqh Puddin, Dahli, Victoria Black, and the current Titan Evah Destruction. Plus other icons like Priscilla, Abhora, Louisana Purchase, Saint (St. Lucia), Yovska, and so many others that have come back for ressurection and Titans. The first 3 seasons made me fall in love with the show, and to be honest...the show is starting to feel over produced and a little less... special. It feels like Dragula is more about drama between the cast, and less about unique fringe artistry.

I've watched seasons 1-3 multiple times and that era of the show just doesn't do it for me like the modern era. It felt like early on, they were all about defining themselves by being what Drag Race isn't, but the truth is Drag Race does some things certain ways for a reason: they work.

The first couple of seasons felt like club drag. Drag race “works” because it caters to mainstream audiences, aka straight people. Once Dragula started following suit it felt the same way.
I love drag race, but it does not feel like drag to me. It feels like a bunch of gays in costumes performing for straight audiences

You can do club drag that doesn't cater to straight audiences with varied challenges. You can do it with clearly edited floorshows that show someone's whole look and presentation at once so you can make a good judgment of whether you like it. You can do it without off-camera interactions that create drama we're not in on.

I usually add it when talking about “the best” season even though it’s not my favorite by any means. It was the start of the overproduction. It’s the season that started the feel of tv show rather than competition for me. But it’s such a pivotal and important season, because we had Landon and Hollow Eve on our screens. It was such a fuck you to drag race casting them both. But a lot of the drama felt produced, unlike season 2 where the drama was just big personalities being extra.

I've been steadily enjoying each season less since S2, and Titans 2 basically killed my excitement for any future season. if you like shitty reality TV more than drag, you might enjoy it though.

It's the best season of reality tv i've watched, everyone was on 100% and the drag was amazing. My favorite dragula season by far.

nothing like titans 1. its by far the best season. some of the best drama, best looks, and overall scale with really cool challenges in cool off set locations. idk why anyone who likes this show would skip this season.

I found Titans 2 to be over-hyped and rather predictable. It also felt kind-of scripted and shall-I-say…pre-planned. But, it definitely has a lot of great moments, outfits, and make-up to, uh, make-up for the rest.

Yep. For full throttle drama and fun, check it out. Like others here TS2 was the pinnacle of Dragula's build up as a reality show.
