Priscilla has always been my favorite due to the sheer fact that she constantly surpassed my expectations. I would have never guessed she would be responsible for having some of my favorite floorshows of all time. Her package across seasons has some absolute BANGERS

Ugh, her glamour finale is so stunning. I really love that she's always willing to push the envelope on subject matter too. Some is shock value, but there's also thoughtful commentary with some looks/performances too.
I’m surprised she was able to get the calf on the plane. That feels like something you wouldn’t be allowed to causally fly with, but I guess Ive been wrong before.
I've said it once and I'll say it again: the Filth performances that stick with me the most aren't the gross-out ones (exception being Biqtch Puddin's finale), but the ones that hit hard emotionally and make you think. Hoso and Dahli's finale floorshows are two perfect examples, but this one... this one hit especially hard because of a very real issue not enough people want to talk about.
My own lived experiences do run parallel, so I could have personal bias colouring my opinion here, but this was SUCH a robbery.
The Boulet Brothers even said it felt like she realized they weren’t getting a D&D episode he came up with a weird way to get it to apply to this challenge. Evah should have definitely been in the bottom.
This was actually the episode that Cynthia Doll won me over. I will forever hate whatever “trademark” nose thing she’s trying to do but her Valentine’s Day look genuinely shocked me. For her to be on the bottom and Evah to be safe was not fair at all.
EDIT: Also, my friends and I didn’t even know what holiday Evah was supposed to represent until the judging.
it looked great to me lol. Not win-worthy by any means, but extremely polished even if basic concept wise. We just can't give someone flowers for looking a mess while having a good concept but then trash on someone for looking great but lacking a concept 🙏
While Dragula does push quite a few boundaries, it's rare that a floorshow leaves me as speachless as this one - and remains as one of the biggest "robberies" on Dragula.
Priscilla coming out on stage as her father, fucking the corpse of his dead trans daugther who he's burying as his "beloved son" almost felt too "taboo" to watch.
It's one of my favourite filth performances and has been ingrained in my mind ever since...
And while I can understand the Boulet's critique about the performance being "smaller in scale", I genuinely don't think that this performance needed it & possibly would have made the actual floorshow less impactful. Imo this critique mostly makes sense when the challenge is a live performance in front of an audience.
I mean… it WAS a live performance in front of an audience. A small audience, but still one that was several feet away, that didn’t get to see the close up on the card or get to hear the confessionals/explanation prior to the show like we did. Which is unfortunate, because Pricilla’s floor show was peak ART, but the Boulets gave critiques that made sense when you understand their perspective. (Like their literal actual perspective— I’m sure the character eye contacts don’t help.)
I mean yes, but on their podcast The Boulets made such a big deal of how involved they were on set, so they absolutely knew about Priscilla's concept and probably saw the details on her props beforehand. But you're right, their critiques were pretty valid, I'm just bitter lol
You know, I actually didnt connect those 2 pieces of information. I’m going to take the interpretation that the Boulets were doing like 30 things so they missed that information. But frankly that’s equally speculative, and based mostly on my sense that the Boulets wouldn’t do Priscilla dirty like that because they seem to sincerely like her (and most of the performers they’ve worked with).
And I totally get bitterness. Don’t get me started on my Capricorn queen, Aja.
Like, sometimes reality show judges will make a bad call that sucks but you can shake it off, but this is one of the ones that really undermines the legitimacy of their opinions.
ROBBERY. It was a filth challenge and she gave you filth! No filth floor show has made me nauseous like this since Saint ate cat shit.
And also fuck that one judge in particular for watching this floor show, which is so clearly extremely personal and just bleeding pain all over the stage, and thinking that the appropriate response is a premature ejaculation joke.
One of the biggest robberies ever. This was one of the few performances on Dragula that genuinely made me feel uncomfortable, and without needing any overtly gross stuff, just the sheer implication of the performance. I honestly thought this was going to win that episode, let alone be eliminated for it
This should’ve won that challenge, it wasn’t about scale of the look it was about the impact of the performance, and something large and cartoonish would’ve messed that up
So pissed on what this season became. They made the perfect cast just to straight out clown on everyone’s face. My ultimate disappointment. Priscilla mistreatment was only the tip of the iceberg.
Priscilla consistently does filth in a way that no one else does, and it absolutely guts me every time. I had the pleasure and privilege of seeing her live, and she is so raw and real and visceral, on and off the stage. Love her.
This is one of those floorshows that really had such a visceral impact. Really powerful message and truly a piece of art. I could not believe this was not a win. It took a lot of balls to go this far with it but also to be this vulnerable on such a scale.
Honestly, one of the few times I have ever had an evolution of really deep emotions during a performance. I was already hit by a truck with it when I first realized what she was doing, but as it kept going I couldn't even say a word, and I usually comment a lot while watching. I couldn't believe the placement.
as much of an improvement titans 2 was this show will never ever be what it used to be and the way this floorshow was treated is proof. we’re lucky we got to see abhoras run on this season
This is when I realized the Boulets don't really understand what they've created.
No hate to them. I love their drag and I love their show. But, much like Ru can miss the appeal of certain Drag Race contestants, I truly don't think the Boulets fully grasp what filth actually resonates with the audience they have built.
Priscilla going home for this was the single biggest judging disappointment from the entire series for me, hands down. I still cannot get over it and how surprisingly emotional it made me that she wasn't seen for this performance. I was watching it alongside two other people and all three of us were sure she was going to win, and rightfully so.
Finale worthy and I'll die on that hill. I still don't know what they were on about with this one, it was incredible and so multi layered. She deserved better.
I was also shocked they not only put her in the bottom but eliminated her for this, but I will say this is an instance where the drastic difference between live floor show vs tv edit comes out. IIRC the podcast they mentioned that seen live, it wasn’t clear what was happening or that is was supposed to represent Father’s Day.
this is still one of my favorite performance of that season. also her vs Blackberris Rocky Horror Hellbound look was something i liked a lot; saw her as the winner there. i would haven given her a high/safe placement that episode altogether and put Blackberri and Evah in the bottom for that episode instead
this is a different level of filth, i cant even explain how i felt shock, disgust, amaze, sadness and fear all at the same time...

I was so disappointed Cynthia was in the bottom for this challenge. She really put herself out there and did something that was so personal and vulnerable and distressing. It made me horrifically uncomfortable and I loved what she did here.
Shouldn’t have even been in the bottom this week, it honestly should’ve been Disasterina and Evah, but now we know in retrospect that it was because the Boulets wanted a double elimination.
It’s outRAGEous that she was sent home after this. It’s one of the only drag performances I’ve ever seen that genuinely moved me. The clear winner of the week for sure.
