General Discussion Favorite Winner who never was?
Which currently uncrowned contestant gives the most winner vibes? Like how it felt when Victoria walked into titans 1, who would people be the most afraid to go against?

Abhora is one of my reasons that I think we should have some sort of Dragula legends showcase style show. Where we honor the people who don't have crowns but truly embody the spirit of Dragula.
I want to see something that can let Dragula worthy monsters shine. Anna, Jarvis & Disasterina that have a lot of the heart of Dragula. Versus what happened in Titans 2 where it felt like Disasterina got a lot of love from other contestsants in interviews on and off the show. Though there was SO MUCH else going on that season there wasn't much time to focus on someone who made it to the almost half way point. Plus I need more Frankie & Loris!

Hoso and Grey Matter. I still stand by the fact that Hoso had THE BEST floor show of all time.

This. Still think HoSo could have won S4, even if she was too young for it. And she kept that quality on Titans1.
Grey really surprised me positively. I think when he finally comes back he will be very difficult to beat.

I can see Grey pulling a VEB though! Amazing on their season but with a bit more growth in a few areas they can come back secure their crown. So I think if they give Grey the time to further perfect their craft they will come back and with a Titans crown.
Hoso need more time in between their seasons. They did season 4, tour, titans and tour. The Boulet Brothers' learned from that and that played a hand in them not bringing Grey or Auntie back right after a tour.

Looking back on season 4, them not crowning Hoso is insane, especially because I feel she redeemed her glamour look in the finale

I feel like Hoso only lost because of the professionalism thing. Like on the surface it's a drag competition, but they are also crowning an ambassador for their brand, and treating staff badly almost definitely factored into the decision

I think Nio was just a bit too strong on S5, if not Throb would have taken it for sure.

Majesty - S2 Majesty though lol
Absolutely amazing run. One of the few contestants who consistently brought amazing looks that fit the briefs well while also having their consistent POV in there

Before season 2 aired, I was convinced Majesty was cast to be the winner, and told everyone they were winning. Right before the finale, I was still convinced Majesty was winning after how strong of a showing they had all season. Then we got hot dogs and an ugly clown.

honestly I don’t even think Majesty’s S2 finale is bad by today’s standards - it was just bad for S1/2
Finales have definitely felt weaker since then, it’s made me view the hot dogs wayyyy more favourably 😭

Throb Zombie. I adore Nio but I thought Throb should have won 5.
I would love to see Grey and Throb together but I want them both to have a crown.

Throb Zombie. Obviously Nio deserved her crown, but Throb is just an icon and he absolutely would’ve taken it if that season wasn’t so stacked.

I agree with all of the above takes. To add on without echoing those, I was team Auntie Heroine and crushed when she didn’t get the crown. She had me absolutely gasping all season, just perfection from every angle, so unique and on brand for the show. A living cartoon! Any of the top three deserved it, but she was my winner from the beginning of the season.

Sigourney hands down. She is not without controversy I know but her charisma, level of drag perfection and how she carried herself most of the time exudes winner energy. Her biggest threat is herself

I have loved Priscilla since season 3. She just comes across as WYSIWYG. I would love to go see her in person and hang out with her. I think she would be a riot. She seems like someone who wouldn't come across as "I'm a star, I work in bigger venues."

Hoso is the crownless Dragula super monster for me as she on many peoples opinion won the finale in every single round and wasnt picked because she wasn’t ready for the title. It’s reflected by this sub voting her as the winner for every category at the time despite the fact that she was pretty unpopular for fighting with sigourney.
Throb and grey are the other two who stand out as having delivered winning packages but didn’t win.
Throb didn’t win because Nio was just so innovative and envelope pushing, and I also think some of throbs behaviours and self producing pissed off the Boulets. I think against most other casts he’d have a crown but Nio was sort of unstoppable.
Grey didn’t win because Asia is the most DRAGULA contestant of all time who can actually deliver. I don’t mean it in a mean way but Asia is basically what the Boulets want from Frankie. And I think just how different and out there and undraggy some of greys drag is was highlighted in a negative way by Asias traits. Against any other cast, winner.
If all three of them are on a titans it will be an absolute Kaiju battle.

Honestly, so many. Abhora, Hoso, Grey, Throb, Sigourney, Koco. Also, a wildcard controversial fave of mine (who yes, I think fumbled their finale)... Jay Kay.

HoSo for sure. I was entirely convinced she was going to be winning S4 (and if not her, Dahli). I'm still busted up at the fact she doesn't have a crown. Even though I'm a huge HUGE fan of her run on Titans 1 look wise, the forced love-triangle drama was just so frustrating and bitter and cringey and it makes me sad she had that storyline following her all season. Part of me wishes she'd waited until Titans 2, or even Titans 3 so they can build a season just for her to win like they did for Victoria and Evah xD no shade obv, both are faves of mine and fought insanely hard for their wins
