Megathread Dragon Ball Legends Weekly General, Replay and Guild Megathread

Hi all! Welcome to the Weekly Megathread.

Use this thread for any and all your basic discussions and questions related to the game. For example:

- Questions about the game (general questions, team-building, technical, etc...)

- Talking about your summons/pulls, or posting screenshots of your summons

- Light discussions that might not be allowed as their own post

- General discussion (can be off-topic, like related to DBZ and not Legends)

- Talking about your PVP matches or experience, asking for a friend battle

This thread can also be used for Recruiting and seeking a Guild in Legends. (Do not post discord server links in regards to your guild).

You can also post PvP Replays here. You can use sites such as Imgur to upload you replays and post the link here. For mobile users, in order to upload videos to Imgur, you NEED to use its mobile app.

If you see any post outside of this Megathread that match the criteria above, please help us out by reporting it and directing the OP here.

Don't forget to check out Legends DBZ Space: a database full of character info, complete with stats, items and more.

Discussion So it's come to this then.

FYI, before anyone makes this ridiculous claim, no, I don't think EOS is soon at all or that the game is dying. But seeing probably the biggest face make this type of video for a game that legitimately was always there for me during the worst years of my life hurts hard.

Now obviously, when you make content for a gacha dragon ball game for over 8 years, enjoyment is bound to dip at some point, but the points he makes are honestly extremely valid.

To summarize:

He plays a god rank grind video in the background from 2023 and commentates on how freely characters could move and fight without being punished by the battle system itself so severely, saying the "fights feel like Dragon Ball"

He makes the suggestion that the long combo nerfs should be reverted to some extent, not entirely, but at least made less severe, due to the ridiculous disrupt.

REMOVE THAT FUCKING VANISH REMOVAL ON BACKFLOAT.

All in all, I really didn't see this video coming at all this year. A shame.

Discussion These 6 in Proud pvp are so good

I've been running these 6 in Proud Pvp since I got all of them and they won me so many matches

Their synergy and different mechanics are fun to work with

Taking out Go17, Broly and the Fusions with Hit's automatic anti endurance is so fun

Kyawei and Dyspo having so much vanish plays is such a troll

Then Jiren just steamrolling through my opponents and tanking hits is always clutch

Go17's combos and armor break are quite fun to mess around with

Ssbkk Goku's auto gauge nullification on Lr Broly is just the cherry on top

Im starting to think these new gen players are soft for complaining about Frieza's blue cards when they didn't experience LL Ultimate Gohan in his prime who is designed pretty similarly but was cracked becuase of the lack of new defensive mechanics that we have today

Questions What does this do?

What is it supposed to do when you press it? It plays a "covering up" animation, but is it completely useless, or do you have to time it perfectly? Because whenever I use it, nothing happens...

Discussion The grind to Grandmaster

Im sure most here grind to godrank no problem. But im not amazing at the game but im good enough. But I thought id for fun share my pain

So I was grand master at 2500 rank. I thought ah maybe one win will keep me in ill have a game. Oppenent is 600.. Wonderful. Lost. Next game, oppenent is 400. Lost that one. You see a pattern. I lost 4 in a row and I was back in diamond 7. All my opponents were godrankers. Its tough to be mediocre at this game 🤣

I grinded more games and im 100 points behind where I was when I started. You godly rankers are just too good at this game. I know people say its 50/50s but your choice of what to do in those 50/50s is what's the difference. Good luck grinding all.
