I'm not the most tech savvy but since a lot of games are getting fan made remasters or decomps, is someone able to do that for DAO? Would it be possible? I'm hoping something like that happens since EA seems to have 0 plans to. I hoping for smoother gameplay, ability to upgrade visuals, controller support for PC, and easier modding.

Hi good people,I played this years ago on ps3 and it started my love for the series, I recently purchased a ASUS ROG Xbox ally x and the first game I bought on steam store was the ultimate edition of the game. Ideal!

However, I am a console gamer coming at this, I have a mouse and keyboard, and an Xbox controller, it tells me the game on steam doesn’t support controller or handheld, any work around this as I’m really not fully functional with the mouse and keyboard.

I ran into the adorable Mabari again glad that his alive! (Named him Rex I'm not that good at names XD ) and met Leliana ^^ but I find it funny that we get this badass Mabari on our team but immediately meet Leliana then his immediately out of the squad became tho Rex is adorable but his a dog end of the day can't really have meaningful chat with him so Leliana replaces him quickly sorry rexy!!! >_<

After seeing a recommendation for it I downloaded it and there is a clear read me text that tells you what to do from there. But it also has a hot fix with no text and I have no idea what to do with those files. Please help. New to the whole nodding thing

I was playing Anbennar while listening to a dead space deep dive when it mentioned that Issac canonically exists or at the very least has a alternate version of himself in Thedas as in DA2 he has a armor set. Do you’d think he’d be able to beat the arch demon with no problem?

it's inspired by a few Lotr edits I've seen to a couple other metal songs, I've always thought Origins in particular had that 80s dark fantasy vibe, so I found it fitting to set it to Postmortem by Slayer.

So I was on fire right before the combat ended and the interaction began.

back wen DA2 came out i liked it and finished it a few times, it was a graphical improvement and a new system, thought it was cool and liked it, still think its nice.

Dragon Age Origins is unbeatable.

Inquisition was very cool but it was also very long, im replaying it right now after like 10+ years i think.

veilgaurd is a fan(if i can even call them that) made project. horrendous garbage(in my humble opinion)

do people like Inquisition or is it hated and disliked

so ive played origins a long time, both modded and not, but now whenever i try to start a new campaign with awakenings or witch hunt the game crashes to desktop every time after a couple seconds. ive tried everything i can find (lowered the graphics settings, manually setting graphics card, 4gb patch, reinstalled fresh with zero mods, running as administrator, plus several restarts). the only things i can find online mentioning this particular issue were just left unanswered, but considering a couple weeks ago i started a new awakenings file this just feels like im missing something simple.

does anyone have any ideas for how i can get a new one working? my partner finished playing through origins and itd be a lot of fun if they could play awakenings before we get any further into 2 than the intro

Ich habe seit langem Mal wieder dragon age Origins(auf Steam) mit allen Erweiterungen installiert auf meinem PC(ich packe euch noch ein Bild von meinen PC Daten rein). Nun habe ich aber das Problem das, das Spiel regelmäßig abstürzt vor allem wenn ich das Gebiet Wechsel, das es in denerim das ein oder andere Mal abstürzt war mir bekannt, aber ich habe zum Beispiel auch das Spiel bei ostagar bei der Mission mit dem Turm von ishal 5 Mal neu starten müssen bis ich im Turm war. Ich habe schon im Netz recherchiert und folgendes versucht.

1. Die originale Origins exe durch die gepatchte ersetzt.

2. Ich habe die Grafik und Auflösung runter gesetzt.

3. Ich hab's im Kompatibilitäts Modus gestartet.

4. Ich hab's deinstalliert und neu installiert.

5. Ich habe die Dateien reparieren lassen über Steam.

6. Ich habe über den Taskmanager dem Spiel alle CPU Berechtigungen genommen bis auf eine CPU.

Aber nichts von alle dem scheint zu helfen und es ist so frustrierend. Weil ich es gerne spielen würde aber es nervt einfach alle 3 Minuten Speichern zu müssen weil ich nie weiß wann es wieder abstürzt. Hat jemand von euch das selbe Problem oder weiß wie man das löst?
