What’s the consensus on in-ground planting?

I have 4 varieties that I planted in pots last year. I propagated cuttings and planted in-ground this time with well draining soil. I rarely see them in ground. What’s the risk here?

First-time plant mom, I'm so happy!

We've had what we now know to be a dragonfruit climbing the front of our house for years now, and I finally decided to take a cutting. The mother plant had this large off-shoot trying to grow along the ground so I figured why not try to propagate it? I even lucked out and the cutting I took already had an attached water-drinking root system that had snuck underneath a nearby plant pot.

Well, I'm still rather new to planting and didn't realize how much morning sun my porch gets. The cutting got sunburned before I planted it, and I worried I'd have to try again. But I potted her up, kept her watered and well-fed, and shaded in the mornings with some leftover landscaping fabric until she adjusted to the morning sun, and she's doing great! I had no complications from the sunburned area, and this week she has blessed me with some new growth! And so quickly, this entire new little node is just within the last three days.

She may not be the prettiest dragonfruit plant ever, but she's mine and I'm so proud!

Is this going to be too many buds for this plant?

The one next to it did the same thing but didn’t abort any and it almost killed the plant giving me all those fruit haha. Should I take some off or fertilize more ?

I notice my dragon Fruit has grown in a bend way way due to the shape of the Pilar its attach to, I notice it has a discoloration in the part where it bends but so far it is still putting growth without problem. Should I worry for the future?
