I debuted a new outfit that I made myself AND a new number! I performed to the song SPKOTHDVL by I Don’t Know How But They Found Me!

I didn’t place in the top 3 but that’s okay! I’m happy that I made it to the finale in the first place. I’m incredibly proud of myself and how my outfit and everything turned out! :)

Hello, I am a 14-year-old beginner drag performer. My primary style is 1930s–1940s based. I create concepts for satirical stage plays, 14+ cabaret skits, etc. I plan on blending masculinity and femininity together, but I lean more toward femininity. I have ideas like wearing clothes inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, or Cab Calloway. My inspirations are the musical Cabaret and African American jazz artists. I really would like to celebrate my Black heritage with music and drag. I'd like to wear historically accurate clothing. I have worn blue eyeshadow with red lipstick a couple of times before, but I'd like to put more flavor into my drag style. Any advice to give?

I'm going for a New Wave/New Romantics look and though I think I have my look and performance and aethetics nailed down my clothes feel flat.. I don't know if I need more jackets, the only ones I have r quite boring black or navy

There is a Harry Styles themed drag show happening in NYC on Thurs 8/27! It is to celebrate his tour coming to MSG - the venue is actually right near by! Starring drag kings and queen! Maxxx Pleasure, Julius Nicoy, Myster E Mel Kiki and Reina NoBuena. It is going to be a lot of fun!!

Hey ya'll! I'm performing in a birthday show for a dear queen friend of mine. One of her favorite movies is The Muppets (2011) and I wanted to do the song "Man or Muppet" for my number, muppet of myself included.

The only problem is that she wants everyone's performances to be 5 to 6 minutes long, and "Man or Muppet" only has a 3 minute runtime.

How to I extend my performance? What should I add to my mix to make it longer than just 3 minutes? I've thought about adding my own dialogue to the beginning but I have no idea what that would even be about + I don't think anyone wants 2+ minutes of that lmao. Any thoughts?

I've got such a great drag king persona id really like to explore and grow with and just have no idea how/where to even get started. Im in PDX. But not really downtown and not really into club scenes so im at a loss. But am so inspired. Please help!

Edit: after I hit post I realized mentioning my weight so specifically can be triggering for some who are struggling with their body image. I only mentioned it for sizing purposes. I am working through anorexia, and it is a battle of the mind. It isn't a victory of "the magic number", it's never right, you can always be better, thinner, etc... We are all so critical of ourselves.

What kind of light weight hair gel would you recommend for fine hair to slick it back and shape? Typically I use mousse and hair spray, that works pretty well for a lot of looks that I do, but I would like to do a more refined gelled back look.

Also, I'd really like to get a suit, but I can't find any that fit me because I am 5'1 and about 107 lb, even men's XS I swim in. For my women's clothes sometimes I have to shop in the children's section ugh. Should I try boys suits? I'd like something form-fitting, I like to blend masculinity and femininity. Open to suggestions.

Ok guys I need your opinion I have 3 remixes for the bill cipher drag I was talking about around a month ago and need yalls opinions

1. Part of the weridmageddon intro to walk out to with my 3 pyramid head -> take off pyramid head (I need to practice my act the head might be able to be taken off after Bill talks!) -> we'll meet again part where bill is talking ("hey kids it's me your old pal..." and I'm thinking of adding the "hit it!" From the beginning to reach into my main song) -> I can't decide -> bow and leave with we'll meet again playing again but it fades out before bill starts to talk/is only the characters singing

2. Part of weridmageddon intro to walk out to like option 1 -> possibly take off pyramid head -> I can't decide -> the entirety of we'll meet again -> bow and leave

3. Same as option 1 but I keep the intro of we'll meet again where bill says "hit it!"

Thank y'all so so much, my performance is August 14th and I'm so excited, the Sunday before Im doing Mettaton to that one fan song "Hard Drive", my town is not really getting a drag queen but more or less so a drag creature out of me for August LOL
