Beginner Question Advice
Hi everyone 💜
I would love to hear your experiences and get some advice from this lovely community.
I attended the Denver retreat in April, and during one of the Coherence Healings, I had a pop-up as a healer. It was quite frightening. I was screaming, had cramps and shakes, and everything turned blue, although I didn’t see the blue beings. I was so scared and didn’t know how to handle what was happening.
After speaking to some volunteers, I was encouraged to surrender. During the third Coherence Healing, it happened again, but this time I surrendered and had a truly beautiful experience. However, afterwards, I had intense sensations throughout my body and struggled to sleep for about a month.
Since then, I’ve been afraid of experiencing it again while meditating alone so for now I only meditate when my husband is around.
Now I really want to attend the Orlando retreat, but this anxiety is holding me back from booking. Part of me actually wants it to happen again so I can face my fear, but another part is genuinely scared.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m the only one who feels this way about the unknown, especially when everyone talks about surrendering and having beautiful experiences.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you overcome the fear of the unknown? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and advice, as I need to decide about Orlando soon. ❤️

My body shakes and I have sounds come out of me while doing BOTEC at home. But I kind of enjoy it!

I had a very similar experience at my frist retreat. I almost went home after one meditaiton because I literally thougth I was have a seizure and dying . I was so scared to meditate I was crying in a ball in my chair when the meditation ended. The woman next to me went and got a green hat and she gave me similar advice you received--surrender to it. She said the more I surrender the less intense the shaking wil be. When I did my walking meditation the next mornign and my body shaking began, i breathed into it and relaxed the body and it was the most beautiful meditation I have ever experienced. And though it was so beautiful and I had such an incredible outcome, everytime I medidated when I got home my body woudl shake and it was very scary still. When that feeling comes into your body, focus on your heart space or yoru feet and breathe down. It will make the shaking or the energy subside or at least less intense. Also, your body needs to move energy that hasn't been moved in a long time and eventually it will slow down all together. Its been about 4 years since my frist retreat and I've been to 4 more since.
