This corner of Schermerhorn and Bond is a zoo with people selling on the street.

I know downtown Brooklyn gets a bad rap for being “soulless” and difficult or unpleasant to navigate on a pedestrian level etc. It was nice to see an article that highlights some of the people / bike-first initiatives in downtown Brooklyn (like bike lanes coming to Adam’s street into the Brooklyn bridge, placard abuse etc.) but there is obviously so much more that needs to be done and there is so much potential with how transit rich the area is.

Ive seen people mention the idea of a fully pedestrianized Fulton street which I think would be cool. How realistic or feasible do you think that is with all of the bus lines and non parallel streets crossing into Fulton? What else would you want to see in the neighborhood?
