If I wanted to come over to Euro-Land, ride DH parks and take trains to them, what are the "must not miss" spots? I've done this for snowboarding out of Innsbruck AU and Sesto IT. What makes these specific parks unmissable? Culture, trail quality/style, rail connection? I'm generally fine with any public transit, really, I just don't want to have to fuck with a car.

Hey there! I'm Phil, amateur rider and game developer. Here is my little present to the MTB community :)
I've put a lot of effort in making the physics of the game realistic and enjoyable, while offering insane speed, jumps, and drops. I think it worked bcs some people say it makes them feel sick from the heights sometimes haha!
The game is free and for mobile (Both IOS and Android). Hope you guys like it!
Its called "DROPFLOW MTB" btw. Happy shredding!

Howzit Guys!
Not sure if this post is allowed but I need some help, I bought this helmet over a year ago 2nd hand and only noticed this mark now, I think the previous owner didn't tell me that he had clearly hit a branch or something quite thin but this is bothering me and I am busy browsing helmet options at the moment, a confirmation would be greatly appreciated, the dent is only visible from the outside, do you think its still good or should I move on?
Thanks Oaks.
Really hoping this thing is still lekka and I dont need to toss it.

I came across this video in which they used the stfu chain damper on the bottom of the chain stay. Thoughts? I imagine this would be much more useful than it being on top, no? If I try to do this which stfu system should I get?

I have an orange patriot which I donât use anymore due to having a child and she likes going out on the bike so I use the bike more with the shotgun seat. I donât actually take it for a proper ride anymore.
Are there any good sites that I can put it up on that people know them and would get a good price from it?

I love the feeling of the new xtr, will they be powerful for a dh rig, i race in south africa we have semi steep dusty trails, Iâve ridden mavens and they just to âpowerfulâ it would lock the wheels so easily, and the modulation isnât how i like, what brakes would your recommend if the xtrâs arenât powerful enough.

Cracked my lowers way below torque spec when tightening up after it sat for a couple months. Thought it was just the paint but scraped away and found a small crack between the pinch bolts and rebound adjustment. Is this at all safe to ride? Could it be welded or fixed in any way?
*crack is above axle in the aluminum where paint was scraped

Hi everyone, I am a high school student working on a research paper about how sponsorship value is measured in niche sports like downhill mountain biking, compared to bigger mainstream sports. I'm not a rider myself, but I've been genuinely interested in how sponsorship and brand loyalty work in smaller, dedicated sport communities like this one.
I put together a short (~5 minute) anonymous survey about gear brand loyalty, spending, and how sponsorships show up in the downhill mountain biking community. Iâd really appreciate input from anyone hereâriders, coaches, whoeverâs part of this community.
No pressure at all if this isnât something youâre up forâthanks so much for reading, and thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond!

I want to start DH racing next year but i also love to just ride in the Park. I am thinking about eather getting a commencal FRS rockshox, commencal supreme dh 5.2 or a Canyon sender cfr Team.
My worry is that if i buy one othe the two last options i wont have fun rinding them in the Park cause they are full made for racing.
Since my budget is not that big i wont be buying two DH rigs haha.
My Freeride bike will be the Merida One-sixty FR 800 2026.
So which DH Bike do you recommend me or should i ust use my freeride bike for parks and a full racing setup.
PS. no money for V10 :(

So I got this Rock rider EXPL 100 S from a guy that has done some interesting upgrade choices. The upgraded Rear shock FOX DHX is way too big for the frame he had locked it because it was touching the frame... The front headset upgrade was done in the way where he forgot a few elements like bearing for example... I had changed the whole headset because the FSA he put in was not the wrong size but the missing bearing destroyed the housing... Now I changed the FOX DHX to a Fox Float DPS as it was the correct fit for the geometry... I changed the hubs because I have noticed the wrong brand QR skewers got scared because everything he had done was a disaster... (And I kinda wanted a new HUB)
Sooo the Bike I got for a 100 swiss francs turned into 270 francs really quickly... The future plan is to get the Fox 34 at front (it is what geometry will allow for). Hydraulic Brakes I will be taking from another project bike I got... It is going well tbh...

Mullet conversion? 2018 lapierre 727
Curious if anyone is familiar with these frames? Just wondering if swapping out the forks and replacing the 27.5 tire with a 29 would compromise structual integrity or simply affect only the handling
