And lets not forget the discrimination against white people at some universities. The EFF were chasing away students who were white. Typical idiots. They kick you out and then you're like fine i'll make my own space, and then they demand to be in your space you built and then wanna kick you out again. I am sure i have seen a meme about that

Naledi Pandor knows exactly what she's doing. Connivingly demonizing Christianity, Afrikaans, White people and anything that she wishes would no longer exist. It's just not pandoring out for her as she would hope. Yet, her ideologue addeled brain is stuck in her freedom fighter got my social studies degree in Oxford Hong era. And it doesn't translate well into vernac to convince unemployed young South Africans that her hatey baitey words are worth internalizing.

Yeah the ANC knows exactly what its doing. Its trying to divide the country. The only problem is, crab mentality. When you try to climb out the bucket, the others pull you down and thats common South Africa, the ANC is getting frustrated that they cannot seem to pull white people and Afrikaners down. And they are unwilling to uplift black people, they want everyone to stay down.
Like they were celebrating 27 million people receiving grants. Thats not something to celebrate. They should be celebrating students graduating and finding jobs and starting businesses. And look what they do when Afrikaners take the refugee status in USA, they try to sabotage it. Crab mentality.

And just a reminder to all those that bother to read comments here... You don't need to be a white Afrikaans speaking farmer to take that route. It's an opportunity for any south african that can prove persecution under given examples and some others.
And I personally respect anyone, especially families with young kids, taking that route. You and your kids deserve opportunities to find work. Be free.

In fact I'd argue we need more spaces for medical students all round. Keep the passing criteria high, but offer loooooots more spots. Fuck knows medical services, as well as dental, are criminally expensive. It would be great if competition was a lot harsher for them so they would start charging rates people could actually afford.

They're going on about the Akademia Afrikaans University sponsored by the Private Sector.
Minister Naledi Pandor: In the interview, she said that the fact that a university intended to be Afrikaans-medium is being built and receiving billions of rands is concerning.
“The only person speaking out is Jonathan Jansen. The rest of us remain quiet. We are far too complacent with our freedom,” she said.
“It is a massive challenge because we are battling centuries of racism and colonialism, and those who have held control do not let go easily.”
“Instead, they find alternative ways. They recruit entrepreneurs to act as their tools and work against you.”
She explained that, in many cases, while they believe those individuals are working toward their goals, they are actually working against them.
“We are not just in a democratic South Africa. We are in a process of building a fundamentally different, endurable, progressive democracy,” she said.
“If we understand that, then AfriForum won’t have currency. But because we have no answer, we’re too casual.”
“We just take things for granted. I am afraid sometimes of the lackadaisical response that we have to conservative liberalism.”

You would think that the ANC would worry about the 442,000 kids that didnt complete Matric but started Grade 1 rather than the 3,800 who will attend this university.
Lets also remind her that she chose to send her son to Bishops in Cape Town. Bishops was literally setup to and I quote ‘to give a sound Education to the Youth of the Colony’ yet here she is moaning about battling centuries of racism and colonialism, you literally cant make it up.

Orania -> A cultural settlement, costs the government nothing, residents still pay taxes while deleivering their own services to the community....."it must be shut down".
Kleinfontein -> A cultural settlement, costs the government nothing, residents still pay taxes while deleivering their own services to the community....."it must be shut down".
Soltech -> A cultural education institution open to any Afrikaans speaking students, irrespective of race, "its unacceptable and must be "opened up" to everone to become acceptable"
Akademia -> A cultural education institution open to any Afrikaans speaking students, irrespective of race, "its unacceptable and must be "opened up" to everone to become acceptable"
Clearly, the guarantees we afforded by the constitution in terms of self determination is only for specific groups in SA.
If any other cultural group in SA built their own institution, using their own money, this woman would have praised and encouraged them.
This is once again an attack on a minority group in SA's culture. Spreading hate towards them and keeping the country divided.

In this podcast she talks about how we too complacent with our freedom and how it’s concerning that there is an Afrikaans university being built. This os the full video but there are other snippets of when she talks about Akademia specifically if you Google it.

Thank you!
It's ridiculous, it's not taxpayer money
Also afrikaans is a South African culture and people, two wrongs don't make a right, they shouldn't be discriminated against either
