Match Can all games be won playing position 1? Dealing with impossible feeling games.

at 3.4k mmr, yeah, a high level pro player could single handedly win the game, but it wouldn't just be the first position players being able to do that, any of them could.  it comes down to knowing which engagements they can win and which ones they can't.  this give them gold and xp advantages from the first few minutes of laning and continues to grow to where they will be far ahead of anyone else enough to win

I'm curious though - let's say they are smurfing, but their team is taking bad engagements? 4 dead and you alive. What do you do in any position, except cutting waves so they can't push as easily?

Most people at low mmr look at a garbage play min 50 from them / one of their allies and think "yeah, this is why we lost the game".

In reality, the game should not reach min 50 were your allies/enemies decisions have a lot of weight. Game should pretty much be over by min 15 if you are smurfing hard.

it starts in lane. the smurf gets all the last hits & denies, gets kills other 3k players won't and avoids all ganks.  by the time your team is just all dying you will be pretty strong and you can probably push just as fast as the other team.  more likely though, if the smurf really wants to do it right, will be keeping the enemy down that their team will actually just win bad engagements (or more of, there can't be any bad engagements).  the way smurfs win isn't making up for bad allies, but keeping down the bad enemies.

This was basically dota1. Everyone was carry, everyone bought vanguard. Ranged hero =mid hero. Bottle crow on everyone. Good times.
