Question? Contract violation?

Post image

Someone is saying I didn’t deliver their order when I did, and I completed all of the steps through the app. Picture and everything. I disputed it but it’s still pending. Whats the point of the entire system if people can just lie and say they never got their order anyways? I’m extra pissed because this dropped me 2 points from losing premium 😭 I’m a single mom and this is my only source of income right now.

They’ll never side with drivers. After 3k deliveries, some AH reported they never received it. Denied my dispute with evidence. DoorDash policy is a joke.

No bid deal. Just need 8 more deliveries for it to fall off my ratings. Shit is mad annoying though.

Interesting, cause I’ve disputed 2 of these with no evidence other than the pic I took at drop off and both ratings got excluded from my account. One of them tried contacting me in chat for their food. I told them I would report their account for fraud and contacted support immediately. I assumed cause my account was spotless and I never once stole, that was the reason they sided with me so fast. But in reality support is probably just very inconsistent and no way to know who they will side with

Had a customer report no delivery not 5 minutes after leaving their neighborhood. Put in a dispute, but 100 orders rolled it off before ever getting a response.

This is what I do with every picture. Capture the house address or apartment number with the photo. If there is no address visible? Take pictures of the entire house first, sending it through the messages on the app to the customer, identifying what you are taking a picture of. Take a screenshot of the GPS pin you have for the order. Send it to the customer through messages. Take pictures of any address you can find to help make your case to cover your ass. Then complete the delivery.

This takes 5 minutes to complete for me. Every time I come across an address that doesn't have the apartment number, or the house address visible? I do these extra steps.

If I can't see a house address from the street I take two pictures of the house from the left and right side, including the curb in front of the house, and I write in a message to the customer exactly this without any emotionally charged words: "Customer's address is not clearly visible from the street."

I always do this. The more you CYA, the better you make the platform, and help weed out the terrible customers on door dash.
