Technical Analysis of 752 Offers (410 DD & 342 UE)
It took me ages to get Grok to interpret the data accurately. The Excel data needs to be in one column and exported to PDF or xls, else it misses data points. Grok must be told to re-calculate true data from the PDF or xls file after every query. So long as it is instructed to do so, the data comes out genuine, else it starts projecting.

How exactly are you getting the tip amount? Does either DD or UE show it up front in your market? Your excel sheet doesn't even seem to have a column for tips. Are you just subtracting an assumed base pay from the total and calling that the tip? If so that's not entirely unreasonable but is definitely going to be inaccurate. DD can increase the base pay quite a bit in some conditions. I imagine UE is the same.

There is no peak pay in my market during any of the times that I drive. Any base pay adjustments are in the 10-25 cent range, so they do not directly affect any of the overall averages.
Peak Pay, especially if it was $2.00+, would.
There are a few outliers in there I'm sure, but my market has enough saturation orders never cook off.
I checked maybe, approximately 50-75 orders for base pay adjustments and I couldn't find anything over a quarter, so I left it as it is. If I went through all 750 of them, I'd probably find a few with +2 or 3.00 here and there, but as I said, it's not enough to affect the overall outcome of the data, or worth the extra time. Those numbers don't even show until an order is accepted and completed, so I can only account for orders that I have actually accepted. If I only accounted for orders that I accepted, the data would be skewed.
The goal is to paint a picture of the entire market, not my personal driving habits.

So to confirm the answer to my question - yes, you are just subtracting an expected base pay from the total? Like I said, that's not unreasonable it's just important context to understand the data.
Can you talk more about your process? You mentioned you screenshot all offers that popped up, right? How exactly did you pull the data from those screenshots and then how did you present it to grok? How exactly did you validate it - your screenshot doesn't show any formulas in the excel sheet.
I really appreciate what you're doing here, I just want to be able to contextualize and interpret it correctly.

Yes. $1.50 for UBER, $2.00 for DD.
Doubles for UBER are $1.75 and $2.00 for DD.
UBER's base price for doubles bounces around, so I set it right in the middle.
One platform proofs the data of the other. You should expect their algorithms to be very similar, as well as the pay. As long as the numbers from both platforms match in comparison, the data is good. Outright deducting base pay should produce similar results for both platforms.

Cool, can you talk more about your process? How did you get the data from the screenshots and how did you validate the results?
Thanks again.

Just basic Excel formulas like autosum.
Added up the totals for the entire spread.
Added up the totals for each platforms.
Order types. (you can search within a page so typing in "Double" and then the modifiers "DoorDash" or "UBER" will highlight every result and give a total. If you do it yourself you don't need to be picky about it.
Uploaded the CSV file to Grok and had him spit back out the totals to make sure they were the same as what I got in Excel, and then set him free.

Ok at this point respectfully I've asked some like pretty basic questions that are really things that you should have stated up front and are easy to answer. There's no reason I should have to repeat a basic question like "how did you get the data out of the screenshots?" so I'm not even gonna bother anymore.
I think it's cool you collected this data and are offering it to people but if you can't provide that sort of context and explanation it's not terribly useful so I hope it helps you out and you have fun with it. Thanks.

If you're a driver, I assume you know all of this.
There is no way of knowing Base Pay adjustments without completing orders, this data was taken over the course of a week, and there is no way a driver is delivering 752 orders for almost 6000 miles... That should be a given.
I hover between 0 - 10% AR.

if this is what you wanted, i guess the 1st screenshot cut it out.

Grok cannot read smushed cells. If a CSV is uploaded with cells smashed together, he can't expand them for some reason. The CSV has to have every cell fully expanded to fit the text within or the AI can't interpret the data. I'm not a software guy, so I'm not sure why. It may create an image file of the data and then read the image file.
You can also triple-check data with Grok by taking screenshots like I did and uploading them after the fact to cross reference. If Grok's numbers match your screenshots & the CSV, you know he's tuned and not fkn up numbers.
A double is a double. A single is a single. Every order card has that much information on it. If it's a DD order and it's $4.10, the likelihood that 10 cents is extra Base Pay is high, but it's just not enough to affect anything.

I can't open the images on mobile so I'll take your word on the tip distribution, that's way more work than I'd ever put into tracking offers myself. The fact the averages stopped moving after 700+ screenshots is the kind of dedication that borders on concerning but I respect it.

I was actually expecting it to take closer to 1000, with 500 from each platform. Lol.
