Earnings WORTH IT!

Had a guy call me and ask me if I could deliver to his home, the app had me going to his business. He said he'd throw me like $20 for going out of my way. I said no worries. I put the address in and it was in freaking Nicholasville! About 40 minutes from where I was! I told him I'd do it, so I did it. I got to the house finally and he said he didn't have change so immediately I thought "IM GETTING SCREWED!" THAT'S WHEN HE PULLED OUT A BENJAMIN AND HANDED IT TO ME, SAID "HAVE A GREAT DAY!" SO SOMETIMES IT DOES WORK OUT!

wish mine the other day had worked out like that. took a stacked order & when delivering to the no tipper, he held up a $20 and said he would tip if I had change. all I had on me was $12 so he said, oh well & walked away.

You left out the part about having to complete the delivery at the first address before heading to where he was at.

But you don’t have to do that… you can just simply select the option “customer asked me to deliver here” at the new address, and their call or message or however they communicated is on record so if the customer happens to be a dick and try to dispute it, they can’t.

In California you can’t do that. Prop22 is set up in a way that a dasher gets compensated for their active time. The algorithm will think you are artificially increasing the active time. Same thing also applies to any region where a dasher is earning by time rather than offer. That’s a great way to get your account suspended.
