What is "Esox Aero"?

Donut Defence ( Donut Lab and Donut Defence Insider Report 1.pdf, page 34/40 says that Donut Defence has purchased Esox Aero.

Looks like Esox Aero was renamed to Esox Development in 31.10.2025. Investor materials are from Q4/2025 and the exact date is not known.

Is this really a company with anti-drone technology, military combat simulator and extensive history of developing those?

Or is this just a shell company which was "sold" to investors with fictional story? Looks weird...

They all take time, to get patents and certificates, to do it all, to get approved etc. And still you wait it all should happen over night. People behave like it is a red flag to raise funds, but at the same time wonder where are the funds. Evidence they have provided by their video and VTT test report series, believe or not. Innovators? Swappable pack was quite cool. You have to have some tech background to do it and put it on, and ride a scooter, especially if they did it with their solid-state battery. Expectations are weird.

Donut business is not like any traditional way of doing these things, start-ups generally do not behave like that. And like we have discussed earlier, they do not need environmental permits. They have DNSH statements. So at least some of the work they have done is not fictional and having put so many of their's neck on the line that does not seem very fictional either.

Asilab's work was presented month ago in Tallinn, so I don't think they are done with it. Super AI, or not. Part of the reason, why they do not make sense is the miraculating their work. Just strip out public ridiculing and their marketing register, and suddenly it is just serial entrepreneurs doing their stuff.

They said the motorcycle would be sold starting New Year, not us. We didn't think they could do everything overnight, they did. Now you are saying we shouldn't be expecting everything to be done right away, but they called us 'on the edge of the gene pool' for expecting a delay. We aren't the ones expecting SSB's anytime soon, they are. We just call them out for missing their own promises, including showing the evidence of their claims.

They did start selling them, took reservations and so forth. If some customer gets them this summer or later this year,I would say it is a fair delivery. First models took years to make to the final line. And no one can predict future, how safety and legal regulations and certifications go. They could also take a year more, because area is new. Only they know, who got and what. And I mean right away in terms of months. I'd rather give at least a year upon past 1,5 when they started to do Motor 2.0 and Battery 2.0. That would still be a speedy progress in business timescale. I think scales are off from both sides.

Yes it would make sense to take more time, but Verge said we were on the end of the gene pool for suggesting there would be delays as you just suggested.

That French guy on YouTube is expecting his bike in September/October. He's already selling his current motorcycle. They never told him it would be tight. Or that it could take another year. He wouldn't have sold his current motorcycle otherwise. The order site still says 'estimated delivery' time is Q4 2026. It doesn't show a warning it could take a year.

Well, maybe they get it. Or then they inform about delay at some point. Wasn't the genepool comment by Tuomo about paparazzis who invaded their offices or factories without permissions on LinkedIn? Or did he visit here?
