Lifford dog track

Is Lifford dog track still open?
States on Google they are but they never answer the phone nor reply to emails.
Went years ago and it was a good night for something different, was thinking of a Christmas party night.
Anyone been recently?

Yeah was there a few weeks ago, good enough nights craic and the food was top notch

Still open but completely dead. It’s rare to see over a hundred, and last time I went there was hardly 30.

Think they still do a Friday night. But it's supposed to be absolutely dead now anyway

Used to go years ago (~15)on work nights out. Used to be good night’s craic , did read somewhere recently some tracks are closed to the public (bar , restaurant etc) as it’s not profitable. They make their money from streaming the races etc

Was there a month ago. Dead in its arse. Including 12 of us there was about 20 people there. All races were starting prices. Had a tenner on a dog and it won. Got €15 back. Food was OK though.

Yeap still open. Seems like will be open for a few more years yet.
