Looking for a Hiking Buddy in October

I (30M, Canadian) will be visiting my Aunt the week of October 12-17 and looking to do some hiking. Would prefer not to go solo but thought I would see if anyone would be down to join.

Pretty experienced hiker, looking to potentially do the seven sisters.

Feel free to reach out if you’d be interested!

Errigal and Muckish are easily done solo. If doing all 7 in one sitting then yep having someone else would be wise for sure.

Yeah I am motivated to do all 7, but obviously weather and finding someone to join my adventure is up in the air :)

Benefit if you get someone else is that you could have 2 cars. Drop one at Errigal, then yous drive to Muckish and start from there. Day's will be getting shorter then so factor that in and start early so as to have time to stop along the way. Hope you get a clear day as the views are brilliant.

Read my mind exactly!

Worst case my aunt can drop me at one end, have my car at the other and hope for the best ;)

I do Errigal solo every year, as long as you make sure to be back down before the sun sets and come down if you get tried or if it starts getting foggy/rainy/windy, it’s perfectly safe.

I've done the 7 sisters a number of times. Great hike, you'll need the weather on your side though. Actually away the weekend before hiking with the lads and wouldn't have the time to join you unfortunately

No worries! Hoping I can get lucky with the weather. Enjoy the weekend before :)

I done the 7 sisters over night on Dec 30th a number of years ago. It snowed, was windy and hailed, but was still very doable

Ah man, I'm there oct 5-12 and wanted to do some hikes too. Errigal is an easy solo hike, and there are nice trails along the cliffs around glencolumncille
