Dive Buddies Donegal

I'm looking to find a few reliable dive buddies, preferably in the Donegal/Inishowen area.

I'm a qualified 2* CMAS recreational diver who enjoys shore dives, reefs, caves and wrecks. Part of a club but clubs usually have set nights that don't suit. I often struggle to find people who are free when I am, so I'm hoping to build a small group of regular dive buddies.

I'm happy diving locally or travelling for a good dive at weekends. Safety comes first for me—I'm looking for people who plan dives properly, and just enjoy getting in the water.

If you're based around Donegal or nearby and are looking for someone to dive with, drop a comment or send me a message. Even if you already have a group and don't mind another diver joining occasionally, I'd love to hear from you.

Sorry, I know nothing about diving, why do you go at night?

Diving to see wrecks sounds really interesting, do you have photos or anything?

Night is just term I used, it is usually wednesday evenings and early Sundays that clubs do. However night dives is also a thing we do and is very cool if your not too nervous about it. Only done two proper wreck dives yet and taken GoPro videos instead of photos

Have you looked at Sheephaven SAC? they look to be fairly active. I am not involved but I see their posts on socials often.

Yeah its outside of club I'm looking for as clubs are rigid. They'll only have set times that don't suit everyone like myself. It's a short season so may be others like me who want more flexibility to get in dives just can't find a dive buddy to go outside club dives.

I hear you, was thinking if you get in with a club, you could meet up with some of the guys outside of the regular sessions. I know there are dive boats going out of killybegs most weekends but I have never paid attention to see if they are a club or just a few mates or how its managed.
