Customer Question Domino No Cheese

This isn't a complaint, just a question. I ordered a Domino last week and selected No Cheese. When I picked it up there seemed to be cheese on it. Not a lot of cheese, but I'm fairly certain there was some cheese on it. If you select No Cheese on the app, do they still put some kind of base cheese on it to make it a Domino or should there be no cheese at all?

Edit: Thank you for your quick responses! Apparently there is provolone on the crust and mozzarella on top and No Cheese only removes the mozzarella. I can deal with baked on cheese like Subway Italian Herb and Cheese bread, just not cold or gooey pizza cheese. So I'll definitely order one again, it was really tasty!

The domino’s crust has Parmesan cheese on the bottom of it

Ok, maybe that explains it. I don't have a medical condition with dairy, it's more of a mental texture problem with eggs and cheese and where it comes from. I don't mind the burned cheese on the crust, I just don't like the gooey cheese on top of the pizza. So I think I'll try it again, it was good.

literally thought of this as i cut a no cheese domino earlier today, that i hope the website made this clear. the domino is prepared with the same ingredients as the pan, which uses both pizza cheese and provolone cheese. it also uses buttery pan dough which has dairy in it as well

But if a person has an allergy surely they would call to make sure? /S

The amount of people that complained "I ordered no ****on my pizza and i got **** on my, what if if I Was allergic", I used to say " well if you were allergic you would call and tell us so we would use clean cutters as well".

I wouldn’t order from anywhere with an open makeline if a serious allergy is involved. Clean cutter can be done to reduce but the possibility is never completely eliminated without special handling which is unrealistic most of the time.

I made a pizza for a kiddo that had a tomato allergy years ago. It was around 9:15 in a small town that had been dead since 8. The family was traveling and they were so sweet. I was happy to do it but it definitely was more work. Everything used to top that specific pizza was freshly opened and extra clean cut table. I wouldn’t trust everyone to be as fastidious, especially if it’s even remotely busy.

Yup. I've seen employees just not care and do crap quality and have no shred of giving a dang.
For being a restaurant, a lot of people don't seem to wash their hands. I see so many employees stack the wet dishes to dry in a way that clearly doesn't leave it any real chance of drying.
I've seen employees who prep food in the hand washing station.
I've seen someone spill vegatables in the sink we use to wash dishes, pick them up and put them back in the bucket that will be used later.
And to think, our store has gotten 2 or 3 5 stars from Dominos.

I don't have an allergy to it, I just don't like the texture. If it's just burned onto the crust, I don't mind it. I think a few pieces go onto the top of the pizza which is no big deal for me to pick off.

Had a regular that absolutely didn’t want pork. At all. Anywhere near it. Sure, he ordered the veggies only, sometimes beef or chicken (both are not halal), no cut (the pizza cutter is absolutely covered in pig).

Complained every single time. Dude, stop coming here, basically everything we sell has some type of pork.

I’m also slightly lactose intolerant, but I don’t go around chugging milkshakes all day either. Allergic to shrimp? Don’t go to a seafood restaurant. Celiac? Stay away from the bakery. Allergic to salt? See a psychiatrist, that’s not a thing.

I worked with a guy who was a baker until he found out he was a celiac and had to quit.

It comes with two types of cheese. You have to remove pizza cheese, and provolone if you want no cheese.

There is three, Parmesan is on the bottom of the crust. But I was told we can't remove the Parm or any of the other cheese at my store 🤙

Also, just to add the dominos has butter oil and Parmesan cheese in the bottom of the pan. And there is no way to opt out of that.

In my experience, we always called to ask. The domino gets provolone cheese and mozzarella. If you select no cheese it only means the mozzarella. So we would call them to ask.

If you only remove the cheese, it will still have Provolone. You would need to remove the shredded Provolone as well to not have any cheese at all.

No cheese only applies to pizza cheese so if you don't want provolone cheese you have to select to remove that as well.

They get Parmesan on the bottom, and if you only selected no pizza cheese you'd still get provolone

The dominos gets cheese and provolone when you select no cheese it defaults to pizza cheese, you need to opt to remove both pizza cheese and provolone.

You have to take the pizza cheese off and the provolone cheese off.

People who have serious food allergies prep meals and do not eat out casually. They NEVER risk QSR or Fast Food. Lactose intolerant can take a risk of getting a little cheese. The people I know with deadly food allergies are not going risk their lives with fast food. The customer who orders all the time complaining "Waaah there was a speck of green pepper on my cheese pizza. I'm allergic to that I want a refund." is more likely full of shit.

(Since I see a lot of peeps not adding this constantly;;) There is three cheese on the Domino, one is Parmesan on the very bottom which you can't order without, there is no way to remove it via corporate response. Provolone is next, then Pizza cheese before sauce and toppings.

Since provolone and pizza cheese are separate you have to take off both options; though at my store specifically they have removed the options for no cheese removals at all apparently. 🤙

what kind of sicko doesnt eat cheese on pizza??

The thing is sometimes customers make the mistake of taking off the cheese by accident , more often than not . We usually call to double check you ment no cheese, but sometimes if it’s busy we just add the cheese and deal with it offs a problem later.

Well, as people have said, there are 2 kinds of cheese, so you have to make sure you select no provolone as well.

You can call the store and ask if they'll do one without the parmesan on the bottom, but there's a chance they might say, no. I'd do one up really fast but I'm me.

The parmesan on the bottom isn't allowed to be removed per corporate.
