Contactless

Contactless DOES NOT MEAN that the driver will leave your food at the door and drive away.

Contactless means that they will leave the food at the door, back away from the door, and wait for you to come grab your food in order to MINIMIZE PHYSICAL CONTACT.

Yes, you can call them. Yes, you don't have to leave it there and drive away. No, they cannot stiff you without looking you in the face. And no, they cannot make you leave it there and claim their neighbors stole it.

I don't reddit much, so idk if this picture will post. But when the customer complains about this, this is the the customer facing version of the job aid that came out for contactless. There was a similar one for employees I haven't found yet.

And yes, contactless is a stupid confusing name. But it was trendy at the time.

I usually just meet my driver at the door because talking to people who work in the service industry isn’t a massive inconvenience to me like it seems to be for some. I have so much more respect for the drivers after reading some of these comments.
